  1. Yeah, this is how it's meant to look as a whole image.
  2. I have this intro I made for my videos. I made the shades of white bit in Photoshop with ease, and when putting it together in Vegas Pro 14, I could still see them fine. However upon rendering and watching back in VLC I noticed I couldn't see all the shades but the far right one in playback. The same issue happens wen I watch it on YouTube and Facebook. I noticed the same issue on my Nexus 5, still I tried recalibrating my screen and nothing was resolved. I can't figure out why I can only see one shade of grey in my video despite using shades varying from #000000 to #e7e7e7, all shades of white I can see in browser and as colours outside of Photoshop. Any ideas on how to fix this or why it's happening would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Yes, a 24" 1080 would probably do just fine.
  4. My budget is £700, might have a bit of leeway depending on how much it is. Preferably ~£20. I live in the UK and I'm upgrading because my "gaming" laptop, runs into a lot of issues and upgrading to a desktop PC would just get rid of those as my issues are laptop base (battery and charger) I use my laptop to create 1080p video, edit high res photos and the only game I play now is CSGO and I do fine with my hardware: i7-4710MQ, GeForce GTX 860M, 16GB DDR3, 128GB Boot SSD, 1TB HDD. I'd like to upgrade these just to speed things up and make performance better. I already have a mouse and mousepad, need a keyboard though. My desk is pretty small so I only really need one monitor and don't plan to change that. Hope you guys can help me out <3
  5. That worked for renaming it in device manager but so far hasn't updated in connected devices.
  6. I have a wireless Canon Pixma MG2950, in my routers control panel it's listed as UNKNOWN, I've been renaming every wireless device to something simple so I know who and whats connected, I can't however ifnd a way to rename the printer. It has no control panel on the printer, I can't seem to find anything on google relating to logging into it if possible, figured I'd ask here. EDIT: I know it's name is "UNKNOWN" because I disconnected every device by renaming the SSID, then reconnecting my device and the printer - as a result my pc and the printer were listed and UNKNOWN was it's name.
  7. Figured i'd ask around here for more effective tech tips on air cooling a laptop. I'd prefer not to use one of those fan mats but if needs be I will, idling temps are between low 30's after just cleaning out fans and peak in the low 60s under load.
  8. What do I need to know before researching upgrades? When it comes to laptop GPU's I know little to nothing and a spot of googling says something about 3.0p
  9. Isn't written anywhere on the chassis. Bios doesn't say much either, with a boot image just says PC Specialist and without just displays hardware and American Megatrends.
  10. I got a custom built laptop from PC Specialist (never buy from them, customer support is awful) for £830 inc tax. Specs are as follows: Intel i7-4710MQ 2.5GHZ (TurboBoost up to 3.5GHz) 16GB DDR3 Ram Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M (4GB) Integrated Intel 4600 1TB WD HDD 128GB SanDisk SSD ------ 2MP Webcam Fingerprint scanner Bluetooth Friend of mind suggested about £600, what do you guys think? EDIT: Forgot to include - perfectly functional battery lasting up to 4 hours browsing and watching media
