  1. @MoSLegend What Windows do you use? If you use Windows 10 have you done each update till now? It's important because this issue is fixed after update "Redstone 3" with the "Windows Balanced Power Profile". P.S. Sorry for the tag and edit i pushed 'enter' before quoting you.
  2. I am praying for the wrath they will throw upon your statement.
  3. That's strange indeed. When i changed my gpu, my cpu usage went from 60-70 to 100% while new gpu's usage won't surpass 30%. But you had 100% cpu usage with the old gpu whereas i didn't in my case, so there might be a chance that your new cpu is relieving some stress off from your cpu.
  4. What are your options? Or even better what is your budget and location? Is there a big store(like amazon i.e) you can buy from?
  5. Sadly they can and that would be bad for a 1080 which is a great and expensive card. Try to go with the CX650 you ve been advised.
  6. What i forgot to mention from your previous comment is that Lenovo Yoga series indeed proved to be bad at temps mostly and turned to be bad generally and that's why even here where prices are inflated, Yogas get discounts from time to time. Best Lenovo ever did and made a name for themselves was the Thinkpads. Made originally by IBM, quality at its best. I really don't know about the newer thinkpad and if it meets the standards of the old days but i only read good reviews.
  7. That't totally true. I am just a little bit biased against HP because of the so many RMAs(mostly for the mainstream series, not omens or elitebooks) and i am also biased against Dell. Their inspiron are shit quality for me(that's the only series i don't like there) and their laptops are generally more expensive than same specs laptops from other brands BUT and this is a big but their next business day warranty is just outstanding.
  8. Stay away from HP(personal opinion for the brand). Go with a Dell just for the warranty(incomparable), i think they have inspiron models with Ryzen cpus and vega graphics. If you can find a vostro(xps would be optimal but pricey) model better go with that(better build quality and cooling). In any case don't forget to buy sth with a SSD. Lenovo would be my second choice. Newest thinkpads are solid options.
  9. No, but the 2060 will bottleneck for sure your cpu in the next 2-5 years. For now you re good.
  10. Yeah and no. Both use flash memory but quality difference is significant. Grab a 500gb ssd. It will suffice for OS, most common and uncommon software along with some games.
  11. You can also add a 4/6 TB of the new black HDDs. Depending on your space usage. In example for me 2,4 or even 6 TBs are not enough so for more space i add fast HDDs and not ssds.
  12. The build is amazing. I quoted Cosmos because it's a case stuck in the past. There was a time when Cosmos was probably the best Full tower out there but right now it's not a good option. Still big and kind of badass but bad quality overall, really bad price and harder to build in it than its adversaries.
  13. I am not an expert but keep in mind that to utilize studio Headphones(as you re looking to buy this kind of headphones and i'm with you in that), you would need a good amp/dac to drive them properly and listen to what they got to give, otherwise it would be better to go for some kind of kraken-like headphones which i don't really like but they wiil do their job. Also i am going to tag @Dackzy . He knows so many things about sound and can be very helpful here.
  14. I don't want to argue with you also. This is a great community and i want to help the OP through interaction with you and the other members here. I could report you for your last sentence which others won't understand here but i won't. Just try to not be aggressive here. It never helps.
  15. Can you read English? If yes try to re read my answer. Never said that you talked about a 2080ti. Please re read my post before replying. My point is that you re not helping and you talking about specific scenario while you know nothing about what OP wants to display in 4K.
  16. Your reply is funny, ignorant and not helpful at all because you don't know what you re talking about. Meaning that a 2080 ti might not be good for 4K and a 780 ti or a fury might be good for 4K in the same time. It all depends and your reply only stands true if the OP want to play AAA games at 4K above 60 fps. So next time do not generalize about things because you re not helping. Of course OP should have stated what does he want to see in 4K res.
  17. The xbox gpu is an underclocked rx580 so yes. I d say go for the 1080. Of course a more powerful card than 2060. No comparison at all. The next gen nvidia XX60 would be better than a gtx 1080 and that by a small margin. Which used 1080 have you found?
  18. I m gonna ignore most of the comments. As @seon123 said you don't need more than 550-650 watts assuming you re not running a server along with the vega. Just get a quality one. Also it would be nice to write down your pc specs.
  19. I see it just as a good alternative. Of course that depends on the price we gonna see this at stores and that also changes from country to country. For example there is no way we ll see this card in Greek stores for under 750-800 € whereas i can buy here the palit(cheapest at the moment) 2080 for 700 €. I also want to add that they just announced them at a big store here. The Sapphire one for 950 € and the MSI one for 900 €.

  21. liteon isn't always bad... this one just isn't meant for much more than the current config, so replacing isn't a bad idea I exaggerated a bit!
  22. It will suffice in terms of power, but please change it before it kills your system.
  23. Probably bad PSU unit. Not generally the Toughpower, just the one you have. Do you have a second psu/borrow a psu, that you can use to check if the crash still occurs when gaming?
  24. Nice!! Now where is the guy that said first gen ryzen is on par with 3rd gen intel. Hahaha funny guy. Even my Phenom 965 beats a 3rg gen i5 in gaming.
