i should've clarified I meant base your budget off of what type of budget you would use those parts with, sorry i said it a little bad. But do you think it's a good idea to use 3600 over 2600

he definitely doesn't need 32gb ram nearly all gamers can do great with 16Gb, I just felt proud cause I felt like a teacher :), although I probably shouldn't have included that in the post it must've confused people. I attached a list of what's currently picked.

He upgraded the ram from 16GB to 32GB but I taught him about how almost never how to change your RAM amount and you usually just change speed and I already feel like a proud teacher passing down my knowledge. I took his list and made a few adjustments and was hoping you guys could take a look and tell me what would be the best to change or whatnot. I also don't know much about Ryzen so I really don't know if his CPU pick is good (in the youtube vid it was the Ryzen 5 2600 which he changed to the Ryzen 5 3600) so I was also relying on you guys for that choice. I left the PSU and case choice blank cause that can be easily filled if you guys have a usually recommendation for 500w PSUs or something. well the one I have in the link is the 3300X which is only $20 more than your recommended 3100, is there anything you would recommend as a cheaper option? and the GPU I used was the same option you put in your list, are there any good cheaper choices?

I know a lot about PCs but I never know what're the best parts for budget PCs so I came here for help. I already have a lot of extra Corsair SP120 High Performance edition fans I can give him but the rest he's gonna need to buy. He's wants to get a PC, keyboard, and monitor (he has a cheap bluetooth mouse he can use for now). I already found a really good 1080p 60Hz monitor with built in speakers for $100 but also want your opinions on it. I also have a 2TB HDD for $55 picked out that can be reused for any future PCs which I personally think is a great choice, the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM. I was only considering liquid metal cause I thought it might be safe on a GPU, as for GPU thermal pads, can you link me some because I've been having trouble finding any at all whenever I search for them. thanks
