    Probably yeah, was just really surprised cuz while there was always a slight difference between mice I used never this stark. I have to recalibrate my settings completely for this thing

    Happy Holidays everyone. So I got a model o for xmas and holy hell does it feel off. I play Siege on 800dpi h13 v13 with my rival 600 but that feels horribly fast with the model o. That 800dpi feels more like 1600. Is the mouse broken or does it feel weird because of the weight difference or...? Idk what to think atm. Im not sure if somethings wrong because the firmware update won’t finish either. I try to do it as instructed but it gets stuck on working no matter how long I wait. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

    I did this autoscan thingie in Aorus Engine and it started OC-ing after that and tbh I'm kind of afraid I broke something XD I just smoked another expensive GPU last week (power surge not me technically) and now I'm paranoid

    Yes but the thing is I don't want it to go over 2000MHz and it does. Is there any way to limit to what point it boosts?

    I never used MSI afterburner, is it easy to use? I don't ever manually OC I just use the normal GPU boost in games

    Anyone have an Aorus 2080 Super? I installed the whole system in a new case cuz GPU and PSU fried a week or so ago, installed new GPU and now Aorus engine is nuts. I can't get into ez mode, stuck in advanced and it's OC-ing in R6 Siege to over 2000MHz...I tried reinstalling the software several times, same issue. Any idea what could be wrong or how to fix it? :/

    Doesn’t look bad except I can’t get anything into the top right usb slot. Tried realigning but Everything seems to be in place, standoffs where theyre supposed to be etc... is it possible the IO shield is slightly bent or the case being a bit off? This is like the 4-5th time the mobo is being reinstalled and this is a new case

    So this is probably a stupid question but I just noticed that the IO shield is just sliiiightly blocking one of the top USB slots. Everything else seems ok as far as I can tell. Do I need to reseat the motherboard or can I leave it like that? Could it damage something?

    Ok so I found the online manual(TUF Z270 Mark 1) according to that, the powerswitch connects to top 3rd and 4th pin right? And the reset thingie to the two right below it?

    That’s the thing, those tiny pins are so small I can barely see them. Like I can’t really tell which pins what except for the LED’s cuz those are marked

    I’m rebuilding pc in a new case and uhhhh forgot how to plug in the reset and power connectors (the tiny two pin ones that attach to the pins on the mobo) if I screw them up, can either damage the pc? Or it just won’t boot and I’ll have to redo it?

    Hey, have to rebuild my pc with a new GPU but I have on board graphics disabled. Will it boot into Windows with the new card like this or am I going to run into problems? Thanks

    Tbh I have not clue about electricity... ended up asking an electrician to come and check it out. He will be here tomorrow, hope he knows what he’s doing

    Hey guys, I’m kind of freaking out atm. A huge typhoon swept over the area a couple days ago and I unplugged the power strips that my pc, monitors and perypherals were connected to. (I slept through the storm but my flatmate says there was no lightning) The next morning I plugged the power strips back into the wall socket, tried to tirn my pc on, saw a spark in the chassis accompanied by a loud pop (similar to a light bulb fusing out) and the pc went dead. Tried to turn it on again, nothing so I swapped to my older psu and the pc powered on but the monitors both displayed an error message saying theyre receiving no signal (my on board graphics are turned off they were interfering with the card) The pc ended up in a repair shop where they determined the only parts that failed were the EVGA PSU and my 1080ti but the motherboard is fine and so is everything else connected only to that. What could have caused this? Faulty PSU? Or should I be suspecting the outlet or the wiring in the apartment? We’ve been living here for 8+ years and nothing like this has happened. All other stuff connected to the power strip also seems to be ok. Any ideas? I’m legit scared to plug in my newly rebuilt rig now

    Hi, I had a custom loop until a few days ago when I swapped it out for a Noctua D15S - for this had to take the PC apart and unplug everything, I briefly removed the CPU as well to show a buddy what it looks like- then had to reset CMOS because all my case fans were suddenly running at full speed after I put everything back together. I downloaded AI suit (I think thats the name) and that worked for a while but today the fans started going nuts again. Since windows was acting up anyway I suspected that might be interfering with AI suite so did a full reinstall, no settings kept. After that was done I let Q fan control in BIOS determine optimal fan settings and this time, the fans are controlled for sure because the PC is silent. When I’m not doing anything. But as soon as I so much as open Chrome or a folder the fans, all of them, rev up for a second or two and since its constant up and down its driving me nuts. Any ideas what I could do about it? This never happened before. I never even needed extra software to control fans. :/ (3of the case fans are noctuas and three are scythes - the later are creating the windtunnel effect)

    Hey guys, I took the sides off my PC and was showing a friend my liquid cooler - as in my hand was in there touching tubing and the res - when my PC just shut off. At that time I saw it was still getting power because the mobo led was flashing and the CPU blocks display was on. Tried restarting, nothing. Then pulled cmos, had to take out the graphics card for this, put everything back- still getting power at this point - tried restarting but nothing. I plugged all leripherals in tried again, then it started up but rad fans and back fan werent spinning. Freaked out, shut it down, reseated gpu and RAM just in case tried restarting, nothing. Pulled power cord plugged back in, now PC is NOT even getting power anymore. Swapped cords, doesn't help. Swapped outlets, nothing. What could this be? PSU issue? Motherboard? Everything's still under warranty I think but I can't have this PC out of comission for long I work and study on it. Any help appreciated PS: I didn't accidentally zap it dead with my paws right?

    Hi guys, I built a new water cooled PC with a D5 pump around September. Recently there's this really annoying vibrating sound coming out of the damned thing even though I've changed nothing. If I take one of the sides off it stops. No wires are touching anything. Fan blades are fine and all fans have rubber padding - or whatever it's called. If I force the side panel completely flat against the main part of the case there's zero sound. Sometimes it stops on its own and then starts up again, to top it off the side panel has been collecting some kind of weird white residue What the fck is going on??? The case is Noctis ROG btw. Any ideas?

    It's not the tubes for sure, smell def is strongest around the rad and dissipates from the rest of the case if I leave the back panel off. The loop is about a month old, it always smelled like this but I assumed its just the 'new smell' too so wasnt worried until now

    Yeah the smell persists even when I'm fresh out if the shower lol It's not strong or terriblye.. .kind of like solder

    First custom loop. When I get close to the PC, especially the top where the radiator is I smell something 'funny'. It smells kind of like the coolant m but I'm not entirely sure and I do remember the rad (black ice nemesis) having a similar smell right out of the box too. I keep taking off the back panel to check for leaks but for the life of me can't find even the tiniest one. Is it normal for a loop to have a smell to it or should I be doing something? Getting kinda freked out

    Nice, thanks I'm in Japan though so for cheapest prices gotta use Rakuten (Amazon and Ebay usually don't ship) Can't find 1366 Xeons but they're selling 5160, E5420 and the likes for around 30bucks. Are those any good? Aaand I'm kind of uncomfortable with buying used hardware, I mean it won't suddenly burts into flames and burn down mt stuff right? O.OThis thing will be on 24/7

    This is probably a stupid question but don't Xeons require eatx boards? Is that just the case if I use 2 of them?
