  3. Hi there, I have tried this in the past but sadly didn't fix my issue permantly Is this maybe due to new windows updates etc?
  4. Hello everybody, I've encountered a lot of problems with 'Service host: Local service'. It uses high disk usage, high ram usage, high network usage, etc. I'm kind of new to this pc thing so help would be appreciated. Greets, Ucthar
  5. Hello there, my mother uses this external seagate SRD001 drive, but recently it stopped working. We can hear the disc spinning in the external drive but the pc is not recognising the drive. The fact that the light on the Seagate doesn't turn on should also be noted. Would this be a scratch on the disc or is this another problem? Can we also resolve this problem? With kind regards, Ucthar
  6. I'm using Eclipse because the book is also explaining everything with Eclipse! I might check out InteliJ later!
  7. Update on coding: I've recieved the book now and started coding with Java using Eclipse. I've learned alot by now, but it's certainly not easy :). Thank you all for the tips / comments. Greets, Ucthar
  8. Hello there Matt, I think you have an awesome PC build! The only thing I would change is the SSD, 250 GB isn't enough in my opinion. If you use your SSD only as a boot-drive, it will be more then enough. I personally have a 250 GB SSD on my first gaming system and it got loaded with games really fast. Maybe invest some more in higher capacity SSD? Greets from Ucthar
  9. Hi there, I have been experiencing some problems with my Razer Naga Chroma. Everytime I lift my mouse the, the cursor seems to be jumping around the place. I have been looking for a solution for ages now but I haven't found anything. Tried using the calibration thing for the mouse mats but that didn't fix the problem. It's also very incosistent, sometimes it's acting all weird and janky, sometimes it's doing fine. Have you guys had the same problem / do you know how to fix this problem? With kind regards, Ucthar
  10. One of my online friends it's safe to buy books for Java because that doesn't change that much. I still need to learn all the basics! (I can't change it now as I ordered the book right now :D) Still thanks for the tips tho!
  11. Thanks for all the responds, I've decided I'm going to buy a book with the basic commands and instructions.
  12. Hello there programmers! I am a 16 year old Belgium student and I am intrested in coding! I've never done it before, tried around with codecacademy.com, but didn't like the format of learning I had a hard time understanding what they meant (as English isn't my foreign language). Do you guys have any tips for a starting programmer who wants to learn Java (if possible in Dutch?). Kind regards, Ucthar AKA Arthur
  13. Ah alright, probaly. It's one of those multibox modems and it has 4 ethernet ports. Thanks for the reply and I think my problem is solved now. Thanks to all of you!
  14. Well the problem is that I don't have a switch, it just goes straight into my PC. Is that also fine?
  15. Hi there, I am starting to move rooms in my house and I am currently using a Devolo Duo 500 powerline adapter. I'm not completely satisfied with this adapter at the moment (randomly losing connection etc). I was thinking if there was a possibility to take a 10 meter ethernet cable, connect it to the modem which is placed downstairs, make a hole in the wall, connect the ethernet cable to the outer wall and let it go up inside my room and connect to my PC. This cable would be around 10 meter. Since I'm pretty bad at networking, I have a question for you guys. My question is if that would have alot of impact in performance and download speed? If that would have great impact on the performance, are there any other possibilities to connect my PC with the modem downstairs? Kind regards, Ucthar AKA Arthur
