Hi, I'm looking at a asus rog strix hero ii. The particular model I'm looking at comes in 8gb 2666 mhz memory installed in a single slot. If I add another 8gb 2666 mhz memory to another slot will it run dual channel? The laptop supports dual channel memory. If I want to run it in dual channel what are my options?

If I add the above mentioned ram will it run in dual channel?

I'll be going for strix. I haven't bought from Walmart before. If I add ram, it wouldn't void warranty right?

Hi, I am looking for a laptop for programming and also to game a little bit. My budget is $1000. So far I found Acer predator helios 300 is the best bang for the buck. It's got 8750h, 16gb ram, 1060 6gb, 256 gb nvme ssd, and 144hz display. It cost $999 on amazon. Do you guys know any laptop that would provide more performance for the money? Thank you.

I've 98 gigs of total space on that folder and appdata took around 20 gigs. This folder grows in size gradually . guess I'll have to move programs 86 bit to another drive. I don't have any other files like games , photos, music installed in C drive.

I need to save up space of that drive.

Hello there! So I was trying to move AppData folder to another drive as my C drive which has windows installed is small. I tried google out the process and Microsoft support page is so confusing. I tried to do this mklink /d C:\Users\user\AppData\Local D:\AppData\Local process and succeeded? Anyway after tried this and that I ended up deleting appdata folder which led me to some problems and I eventually had to reset windows. T.T If you guys can tell me definite way to move that folder that would be very helpful. I'm using windows 10 64 bit . Regards.

As many other have already said, the cpu will bottleneck your system. That means you won't get full potential of your gpu.I highly recommend to you to get a ryzen 1400. If it doesn't fit your budget, wait for ryzen 3 to release.
