  1. Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my audio for gaming only, my onboard sound just isn't really loud enough and I was looking into either a sound card or the dac and amp. any real differences on between which ones would be better for gaming, sorry I'm kind of a noob when it comes to audio and sound systems
  2. https://www.newegg.com/black-asus-tuf-gaming-vg24vq-90lm0570-b011b0-23-6/p/N82E16824281027?Description=tuf gaming monitor&cm_re=tuf_gaming_monitor-_-24-281-027-_-Product anybody know anything about these hopefully I didn't make a mistake was just hoping this would be just a small step above the cheap viewsonics and other 140 dollar models
  3. i checked the tests it was multi core test. and I know for a fact the cpu isnt throttling at all, its not even getting warm to the slightest bit. for some reason its just not putting out the power its suppose to put out. I was just wondering if those intel diagnostic checks could be wrong. Would any of you trust them
  4. ill try it, should i do it with the jumper cable cuz my motherboard gives me an option to reset to default settings in the bios. Just wondering if it still would be better to use the jumper cable
  5. im pretty sure the clocked speed is 3.41 gz but i feel like its putting out a lot less
  6. where can i find the clock speed at. msi after burner doesnt have this thing going above 40c i didint really see an option for a single or multi core test, i just know i ran the same exact test on my brothers i5 which is about 5 years old he still hit a 321 and my old amd quad core hit 276 on the test and I know my old amd with a 1gb graphics card is running gta 5 a hell of a lot better right now than my i7 with a 960 4gb card. I swapped cards and the frames were still just as bad on the computer so i know something is wrong with the cpu.
  7. Hi, ive been having a lot of problems with framerate drops in just about every game and i think it is because of the cpu is running way slower than it should. i ran a cinebench test and it scored a 165cb which is very low for i7 6700 cpu. with an msi Z170A Gaming- m5 and with 16gbs of ram/ I've ran a memory test, updated my bios, ran a intel diagnostic check on the cpu, and a hard drive test and everything has passed. would anybody have an idea what it could it be.
