N3D9ed got a reaction from El Bejelando in Looking for M-ATX high-end mobo for 350D
Asus' Maximus VI Gene, Gigabyte's G1.Sniper M5, MSI's Z87M Gaming but since you prefer red, the first and third choice would be my recommendation to you.

N3D9ed got a reaction from EpicGeekonFire in Where can I but Bequiet products?
Last time I checked, the Dark Rock 2 was still there. Try searching "be quiet!" Instead of "bequiet". -
N3D9ed got a reaction from Brainiac777 in GTX 750, 750 Ti, 760 SE? Disappearance of GTX 650 Ti Boost!
Successor to the 650 Ti, not predecessor, that would be the 550 Ti.

N3D9ed reacted to FMA in Crossfire 7870 or R9 280x
I think alot of people misunderstood the questions, crossfiring 7870 will outperform a single 280x, but not without problems like microstuttering (but thats been fixed now on most things) and increased power consumption, and the cards might run hotter because of the card below heating the card above.
Although alot would recommend a single card solution there are a few cases where crossfire would be an option.
1. crossfiring looks better in a system, the bottom half looks a little empty in an atx system
2. you want to start gaming as soon as possible and dont have enough for a better card. so adding another later and increasing performance without buying a card that would cost alot more would save alot of money.
And i dont believe MoYo understands the hassle that goes into sellng a card, sometimes its just easier not to deal with it.

N3D9ed got a reaction from FloGer in $2500 - $3000 build list???
Here's some suggestions, feel free to ignore it if you will:
Get the bigger capacity variant, the 250GB one.
Drop the 770s, get the 780 instead or the 780 Ti if you want the best of the best.
Get a quality 600W power supply. Here's a couple from Seasonic. The X-650 and Platinum-660XP2.
Drop the 2400MHz RAM and get the 1600MHz instead, there won't be a tangible performance difference between the two.
So, essentially, 'Yay' for everything else besides the SSD, GFX cards, power supply and RAM.

A rough budget would help before people start throwing quad 780 Ti's and 1TB ssd's your way.

N3D9ed got a reaction from tristan1035 in Corsair 230T
All will fit just fine. If your budget can accommodate the 230T, I see no reason why not to get it over the more budget-oriented cases.

N3D9ed got a reaction from Zyxszs in Is "Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87" fully compatible with Windows 8.1
Pretty much every Z87 boards supports Windows 8.1.
But here's something to take note of.
Quoted from Jedziah of Overclock3D:
"If you are running Windows 8/8.1 - The Soundblaster Recon 3Di has some "issues" which you can live with, however, frankly, they annoyed me enough to buy an internal card.
Essentially, it is a known issue that probably around 60% of the time you switch your rig on, the Soundblaster will not be detected in Windows and you will require to shut down, power off completely and restart (which fixed it everytime), however, it's just not good enough from Creative's standpoint and we all know that a set of drivers is still 2-3 months away."

N3D9ed got a reaction from rodakin in Test which card is better?
Unnecessary. Even if there is a difference. It's pretty minuscule, it won't be worth the time and effort.

N3D9ed reacted to WoodenMarker in Which Noctua CPU cooler to buy?
Have you actually worked with Noctuas before? They're made to have lower pitched sounds that blend into the background more than CM's fans.
They sound a lot more quieter than something like a dBA scale shows.
Not all towers are designed the same and not all fans are either. Noctuas are great because of their noise levels. In terms of performance, they're not that special.
CM fans are great but not nearly as quiet as Noctuas.

N3D9ed got a reaction from MightyUnit in R9 290, Dat Heat, Sell?
Instead of selling, you can get the NZXT Kraken G10 and an Asetek-based AIO liquid cooler (such as NZXT's own X60/X40).
