Vx0x got a reaction from Origami Cactus in Are all these parts compatible?
Get a better psu. Like an EVGA gq or a Corsair TX series or something similar, also get the 8700k or the 8600k not just an 8700.

You might as well go with a 1060 6gb for the extra 90. It's 86% faster than a 1050ti. All your parts are good ish I suppose. CX450M would be better for your cable management due to it being semi modular rather than non modular. Power draw's nowhere near 500w or 450w anyway.

Vx0x reacted to bling in MyPC - liquid time
These couple of days I finally came out with a plan for the tubes, therefore it was time to take out the heat gun and do some bends
And I managed to complete almost all of them
And prep everything for the leak test
But unfortunately on the last bend I discovered the tube is too short for my route therefore I had to stop.
Now I'm looking to get a visual flowmeter or something similar to overcome the shortness of the tube, any other suggestion?
In the meantime I took out the old pc while waiting for this build to finish. Does this count as a desk pc??

Vx0x reacted to STRMfrmXMN in LTT Official Discord!
Same, but only very slightly. I might ask a mod to change mine from "Storm from X-Men" to "STRMfrmXMN" since most people seem to think "STRMfrmXMN" is a username I created by smashing my face against the keyboard

I think that might be taking it just a bit too far.

Vx0x reacted to Tieox in Scrapyard Wars in current state of GPU and RAM market.
I want to see them do another Scrapyard wars, However the whole PC has to be a micro atx formfactor, and MUST be watercooled, also no laptops, they must use smartphones only. And do the whole thing dressed in cosplay.

Vx0x reacted to Questargon in Phanteks Enthoo Pro M RGB Issues.
Update: I added an RGB Controller to my build ("Paulmann 702.02" in Germany, I guess the "SUPERNIGHT (TM) IR Remote Controller 44 Keys" available in the US is similar) and rigged a 12V connection to my power supply. Now I have even more effects and am independent of my mainboard. And because dimming of LEDs is realized via PWM, dimming them provides a nice interference pattern on my front fans.

Vx0x reacted to bling in MyPC - liquid time
Front radiator installed
Both rads, pump and reservoir installed
At this point i had to redo the tubing from/to the pump because i didn't like them.
After a lot of wasted petg, this is the unfortunate situation at end of the weekend, i'm missing a tube At first i thought it was all right but when i went to install it it din't fit.
I tried to redo it but run out of tubes therefore i'm stuck here with the pc still ripped apart,
The rear and top fans are only temporary to get the right clearance.
The bright side is that along the tubes there are also the corsair hd fans on their way. Hopefully the next weekend i'll have everything in order to continue.
I'm also redoing some tubing, especially the one to the pump
