Okay dear LTT community i've been a PC gamer for about 7 years now and i'm pretty confident and aware of those ins and outs. But today i'm here because i've just started a business with my family and i'm the Head of IT currently i'm running everything off of my personal PC, hosting a website with squarespace (Thanks Linus) and im happy with what i've been able to implement so far. I've now transferred all data to a synology NAS. I'm looking into a server for secure storage of sensitive client information.
TL:DR I feel like a total noob now i've been looking into servers and NAS setups. All i've got is a synology NAS setup running RAID 1 for all of the business documents but i'm going to have to figure out a server solution to store sensitive client information securely.
Any advice would be hugely!!! appreciated.
