  1. Thanks for the reply! The thing is I have no place to hide the cable without it just looking awful (trust me, I tried). For that combo you are using we are talking almost 200 USD plus I'd have to use two separate dongles which I'm trying to avoid in here.
  2. Hi everyone! So my PC is connected to my TV and I play laid down in the couch, meaning that in order to avoid having cables going from one side of the room to the other I must go wireless for mouse, keyboard, headphones and joystick. At the moment I rely on Xbox One controllers (works flawlessly), Bose QC35 ii headphones (ditto) and I use the Logitech Mk220 for mouse and keyboard and these ones don't have a very good connection, the only way they work flawlessly is if I plug the dongle on a USB extension and get it as close and straight as possible to the peripherals (I'm sitting about 2 mts or 6 ft from the TV to the couch at most). I've looked for other mouse and keyboard combos that use only one dongle as I don't want lots of different USB dongles interfering into each other or populating all my USB I/O but didn't find anything worth it. I've been wandering the web looking for some kind of wireless USB transmitter/receiver combo to use a regular mouse and keyboard connected to it but I didn't find any product of such. Does anyone have any recommendation for the wireless mouse/keyboard combo or the wireless USB hub thingo? Basically, the golden rules for the suggestions are the following: 1) Must be a wireless solution. Not throwing a long USB extension to the other side of the room in order to plug a regular USB hub there. 2) Single dongle mouse & keyboard. 2) Out of the box or friendly solution for the wireless USB hub. Thanks in advance!!
  3. Yeah, the biggest problem with RTX cards is that atm they are not worth the money, that´s why I discard from the getgo the 2080ti. Everything is working fine atm, it´s just that there is something itching in my mind that I could gain fps or kick the resolution up with an upgrade (playing 4k smoothly without compromising graphic settings in those games would be sweet). ?
  4. Yeah, but I was aiming to the RTX for the raw increase in performance as right now there is not any game with ray tracing nor DLSS implemented. Best option would be to just wait and let the market settle it´s prices then?
  5. The idea would be selling the parts I´d be replacing, GPU or CPU+MB.
  6. Hi! This is my first post here and I hope to get good feedback from this awesome community it so let´s begin. First of all let me throw down my actual PC specs to put you guys in perspective: - CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x - CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H100i V2 - MB: ASUS X370-PRO - RAM: Corsair DDR4 16gb (2x8) 3000mhz Vengeance RGB - GPU: Asus Strix Gtx 1080 Gaming - SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB - HDD: Western Digital 1tb Caviar Blue - PSU: Corsair Cx850m 850w - Case: Corsair Crystal 460X I'm looking for a gaming boost at 1080p with maxed out settings (high refresh rates) and 4k at high/ultra at a smooth fps experience (+30 fps, desirable 60fps) and so I've come up with 3 different options up the top of my mind right now: 1) Upgrading my GPU to an RTX 2080 (2080ti out of the question right now). 2) Upgrading my GPU to a GTX 1080ti. 3) Upgrading my CPU to 2700x, conserving my actual GPU. 4) Switching over to Intel´s 8700k platform, conserving my actual GPU. If it´s worth my usual games are: - X-Plane 11 with addons @1080p. - Planet Coaster @1080p. - Project Cars 2 @4k. - Euro Truck Simulator @1080p. - American Truck Simulator @1080p. - Cities: Skyllines @1080p. - GTA V @1080p. - Subnautica @1080p. Any suggestion is more than welcome as I really don´t have one clear choice right now. Thanks in advance everybody!!!
  7. - Ryzen 1600 w/stock cooler. - ASUS Prime X370 Pro. - 2 x 8GB Vengeance RGB DDR4 3000MHz Memory Kit (CMR16GX4M2C3000C15) - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 Oc 8Gb - Corsair CX850M 850W 80 Plus Bronce. - Corsair Crystal 460X RGB. - Windows 10 Pro 64-Bits. Those are the current specs, my bad.
  8. Hi everyone! I'm having a little problem in here and was hoping to get some help from you guys so here is the issue: I've just bought a new PC about two weeks ago, which specs are the following: - Ryzen 1600 w/stock cooler. - ASUS Prime B350 Plus. - 2 x 8GB Vengeance RGB DDR4 3000MHz Memory Kit (CMR16GX4M2C3000C15) - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 Oc 8Gb - Corsair CX850M 850W 80 Plus Bronce. - Corsair Crystal 460X RGB. - Windows 10 Pro 64-Bits. I installed everything, windows, drivers, steam and downloaded some games and the pc worked flawlessly but, when I tried to get the RAM to 2933 Mhz I couldn't as that specific MB didn't support my kit for those speeds. I contact the vendor, explain everything and manage to get the MB to be changed to the ASUS Prime X370 Pro which had my RAM kit in the QVL and effectively let me get the RAM to those speeds. Here is when the magic started to happen. All of the sudden and completely random (most of the times while gaming) the PC started to "reboot" and freeze, showing a black screen with "No signal" on it, the GPU RGB goes white and despite the whole system being on and running that sign won't go away and I have to do a hard reset to the system in order to use it again. I got the RAM to stock speeds @ 2133 Mhz and despite letting me play for longer this still happens from time to time. Updated BIOS to latest (V0805) and all other drivers are up to date also but this keeps happening. I've tried to replicate the problem by running aida64, Unigine Heaven and superposition and no luck at all. The CPU temps at idle stay at 32 C and when I stress it with aida64 they get to 66/67 C, GPU temps get to 70 C with fans running at 50/60% when on load (temps seems fine for me but better let you guys know them for sure). Yesterday I've read on a forum that installing MSI Afterburner and setting "keep current constant" might do the trick and so far so good but I only managed to test it for a couple of hours and I didn't try to get the RAMs back to 2933 again (I'm gonna be doing this when as soon as I get back home from work today). Anywho, I would love to get some help from you guys on what may be causing this issue as the system should be fine running at full load with RAM @2933Mhz.
