Hello everyone, Woke up today ready to power on my PC, and I see the error code on the motherboard, 9C. I read that it has something to do with it trying to boot to USB, but my disk is still working. I can't even boot to BIOS with the delete key. Here's a link to my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/XQfH99 Please help me out if you have any ideas. Thanks!

But this happens when I have simple programs like Google Chrome and Hangouts open. Nothing very graphically intensive. I monitor the temperature it usually stays between 27C and 32C.- 7 replies

Screen Blacking Out & Crashing

It freezes, goes black for a few seconds, but then restores to normal most of the time. Occasionally it will reboot.- 7 replies

Hello, Quick question, I noticed an array of lights on my MSI Gaming M5 Z170A board today. There is a vertical line of LEDs. Each individual LED is labeled, PCH, VCCIO, VCCSA, DDR, GPU, CPU. I'm assuming they're for quick troubleshooting. Anyone else know? Thanks!

Hello, For a while I've been dealing with an issue with my PC. At random times, the screen will freeze and the display will slightly pixelate. I have tried switching cables, monitors and ports, but no luck. Sometimes, the PC will just crash and restart when it freezes. Although, no BSODs. Here's the build. CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00GHz (Overclocked to 4.60GHz) Cooler: Corsair H55 AIO Water Cooler UPDATE: NZXT Kraken x62 Mobo: MSI Enthusiast Gaming M5 Z170A RAM: 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX GPU: Asus GTX 1080 Strix 11GBPS SSD: PNY 240GB (for boot) HDD: WD Blue 1TB (for storage) If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks! ----------UPDATE!---------- Issue resolved.

Hello, I was thinking about my build: -CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k Overclocked to 4.6GHz -Mobo: MSI Gaming M5 Z170A -RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR4 2133MHz -Storage: Two WD Blue HDDs -PSU: EVGA 600w Semi-Modular 80+ Bronze -GPU: Asus GTX 1080 Strix - Boost Clock at 2068MHz and Memory Clock at 11010 MHz -CPU Cooler: Corsair H55 AIO Water Cooler Which I was considering adding another GPU and more RAM, but are my CPU and Motherboard too low end? Maybe I should upgrade to something like an X99 and an Intel 7820X? Kind of confused here. Thanks! UPDATE: Upgraded to 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM, and a 240GB SSD for boot.

Do I Have Enough Wattage for a 2nd GPU?
Trevor Thompson replied to Trevor Thompson's topic in Power Supplies
I might just buy a Corsair TX850M, because I'll have some more room for expansion. -
