Yes, that could totally cause that, because the majority of the mounting pressure will be on the too thick thermal pads, rather than on the die where it's most needed

well the block may also be putting either weird pressure on the pcb or grounding something that isn't supposed to be grounded so i would try the card in its original form.

Because you said that you installed a watercooler, the temperature I see in your FurMark screenshot are NOT normal. A GPU on water cooling shouldn't jump right to 94°C (it shouldn't even do it on its stock air cooler). That indicates either insufficient mounting pressure (like from too thick thermal pads on the VRMs and the memory) or a bad paste application. Try looking up your card and checking the thermal pad thickness(es) you need for the different spots. The fact that your memory junciton temperature is really low would indicate (to me) that the thermal pads are too thick, because they get cooled well but the core doesn't because there's not enough pressure on it

did you check if the gpu has some form of hardware failsafe in the event the fan is unplugged

    The easier way.
    1. Buy new HDMI cable.
    2. Buy new Power cable.
    3. Unplug all cable in your PC (unplug not take out so won't impact to your current cable management)
    4. Bring your PC to your TV area.
    5. Plugin you just purchase item 1 and 2 and connect HDMI to TV.

    Done.

There are wireless HDMI options which would avoid the wire, but they cost a lot of money so not really feasible for this type of thing.

Steam in home streaming or whatever they call it now might be a good option assuming you've got a good internet connection to the TV. It should be an app available for the TV that lets you stream games right to it, then you'd just need a couple controllers hooked up via Bluetooth (I forget if one or all can be connected directly to the TV) and you should be golden. There are also alternatives directly from the GPU manufacturers that may or may not work better (Moonlight and AMD Link for Nvidia and AMD GPUs respectively), but don't have much, if any experience with either of them so can't say whether Steam in home streaming would be better or worse (they're all free so you can experiment a little). Granted, these are only really an option if you've got a wired internet connection to at least the PC, preferably both the TV and PC, otherwise latency might be a little too high to be usable.

Couldn't you just unplug all of the cables from the PC and then move it? That wouldn't affect your cable management because all you're doing is moving the PC. Just get an extra HDMI cable and keyboard/mouse and you're golden. PSU Cables are standard so you can also pick an extra one of those up if you need to.

Otherwise just get the long HDMI cable.

Thank you for explaining, really insightful info. I had assumed coil whine was associated with the fan, but im wrong. I haven't touched any Overclock settings so its just at its base clock. Ive started to limit framerate to my monitor refresh rate, being 165hz.

I thought Coil Whine is removed once moving / spinning parts is eliminated. Was definitely not prepared for this type of noise.

Alot of people think so .as the fan noise cover  coil whine totally but once you take out the fan noise it's more clear however don't let that annoy you . Basically u would get coil whine in potato games (esport) or menu's and in reality if you got volume on u would barely hear them at all . The solution is u would be in the menu for less than a min and fps cap potato games to 250- 300 fps and u would get zero coil whine.  Alot of new titles also automatically cap their menu fps to 60 .

If you have a spare router that you will put into AP mode, yes it’s ports will still work as a normal switch’s would. To use a router like this you would plug it into the upstream router, but instead of plugging into the WAN port on the AP router, you would use one of the switch ports. So if you have a 4 port router (5 port total, 1 is dedicated to WAN) that you will be using as an AP, WAN port will not function, 1 of the ports will be used to connect to upstream router, and that will leave you with 3 ports for devices.

If you need additional ports, you can get a switch.

    ...and?

25mm is the space inbetween the motherboard area and the fan mount. If you don't have tall VRM heatsinks, you might be fine. You might also need to mount the AIO closer to the side panel.

I read up in this post that the Bykski block was cheap. I am currently using said block and can report that this is not the case. Bykski is gaining traction here in the west, but has been a rather large company in the east for quite a while now. I can report that under load, with modest overclock and custom full loop, in games like No Man's Sky, Grand Theft Auto 5, ARK: SE, Tera Online, on HIGH graphics settings, at 4k resolution, i see temps average out around 75C on the gpu at around 75-80 fps. Coolant temps ~41C.

I've been there, use what you've got.
Hmm I'm a little more adventurous, I'd have trimmed the parts or swapped them for some nuts and plastic washers if I could figure out the size. It's not a bad cooler, it's just locked up in a plastic cage.

AS isn't the best compound for graphics cards, it can be conductive/capacitive and with all the little SMD's near the core that's kind of risky.
Also, you left the chrome plastic airflow blockers in place? Are they required to hold the fans? It sure looks like removing those decorations would aid in airflow out of the fin stacks to the sides of the card.

What I am seeing is there are two versions of this card. “Ultra” and non ultra. What would matter is if one or either of them is a reference design.  I can’t find any information one way or the other.   If it’s a reference design a reference block will work.  If it’s not it won’t.

    to go through the parts:
Pump - for a single card loop pretty much anything from a water cooling parts shop will do, if it has molded fittings you can save on buying fittings as long as they match your tube ID)
Reservoir - small reservoir will be plenty, or find a pump/res combo which will usually be the best option.
GPU block - you already know what you want
Radiator- 240mm or 360mm will need 2 fittings, one inlet and one outlet, typically they come with plugs if there are more than one set of openings.
Fittings - let's say you use pump/res, rad, gpu block. that's 2 for the pump/res, 2 for the rad, 2 for the gpu block so 6 total.
Tubing - depending on the diameter of your fittings it will determine your tubing, for a small loop like this diameter of tubing makes little to no difference so just match the fittings
Fluid - any pre-mixed will do (easiest), or distilled water but then you'll need an anti corrosive and bio-inhibitor to make sure the loop doesn't grow bacteria or wear away your components.

biggest thing is know your metals! If you have a copper/nickel block, get a copper rad, if it's an aluminum block get an aluminum rad and good luck finding fittings other than PVC which won't corrode away.
The nickel plating will wear away over time so be sure of the metals under the nickel before building the loop.

use this to pick out the parts list and just shop around for what works for your loop

The CPU coming out with the cooler is quite common with AMD.
Literally when you put the CPU into the socket, and push the lever down, it slides sideways slightly, and grips the pins with friction.

Best is to NOT remove the CPU while when the system is cold.
What I mean, it don't remove the CPU when the system has been powered off for a long time.
Instead, let the system idle on Desktop for ~30 minutes, run a game or stress test for 15 ~ 20 minutes, so it warms up the thermal paste.
Shut the system down, and while the heatsink / CPU / thermal paste is still warm-ish, use that time to remove the CPU.
The heatsink / CPU cooler should just come right off, or should just twist off.

Learned that the first time with my socket AM2 AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (when I decided to swap it with a Athlon 64 X2 6000+).
I think it happened once with my Phenom II X6 1090T...but that was it.
Phenon II X4 955, Phenom II X6 1090T, FX-8350, nope, CPU stayed in place every time I take the CPU cooler off.

Just twist it off (carefully) . Also maybe use a hairdryer or something to warm it up a bit maybe (but try not to burn it up lol) This never happened to me, AMD or not weird. (I also never installed or deinstalled an Intel, their coolers are absolutely nightmare fuel)

Also why did you use "AMD" paste?
