in gta 5 120 fps feels like 70 because of micro stutter and after playing for 1 or 2 hours the game freezes up every 2 seconds for half a second after going back to creators update everything is fine. One thing i noticed was that it used 3gb of ram instead of 5.5gb on creators update while playing according to task manager which i think is the cause. I tried disabling full screen optimization but im almost %100 sure its because of the os ram allocation. Anyone else have this? Im on 6700k 1080 ti and 16gb of ram so this shouldn't happen.
i have a decent power supply but its 3 years old and my current setup is almost at its voltage limit under max load so i want to get a new one, i currently have:
6700k 1.3v 4.6ghz oc
evga 1080 ti sc2 2ghz on core 12.6ghz on mem oc
asus z170-a motherboard
8x2 corsair dominator platinum 3ghz
m.2 960 evo 1tb
4 140mm fans including cpu fan
Im trying to go for max power efficieny for money, would a titanium or platinum be a better option over a high voltage because power supplys are most efficient at around 50-60% load

same price,
one is 24 one is 27 inches,
24inch version is 165hz while the 24 is 144,
from reading reviews the 27inch has slightly more "overdrive" and "interlace pattern artifacts" is it something im going to notice?
im upgrading vg248qe because i am getting a 1080 ti

im upgrading from 1080p 144hz because im also getting a 1080 ti and i have a 6700k, which one should i get?
on newegg im trying to get a 1080 ti sc, i don't want it to potentially get sold out by friday and its already 30 dollars off, ive heard for 24 hours on friday is when the largest sale happens so im wondering if anyone remembers how much 1080s got discounted last year?
Has to be:
Under $600
2560x1440
144hz or more
Would be nice if it has:
gsync
ips instead of tn
Im not really sure what brand to go with but from reading reviews asus or benq seems to be the best?
looking to get 1080 ti ftw and it will be max overclocked
current power supply is evga g2 650w that i have been using for 1.5 years
and my current specs are
6700k 1.3v 4.6ghz
evga 1070 ftw
8x2 3000mhz ram
asus z170-a
samsung m.2 960 evo 1tb
So far i found this that i like: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487338&cm_re=1080_ti-_-14-487-338-_-Product
But its 100 above msrp, are gigabyte varients as good? Im only looking for something that can reach 2ghz without reaching 80+ c while being decently quiet.
what should I get? I already have 1 evga 1070 ftw
my current specs
6700k 4.6ghz 1.3v
asus z170-a motherboard
1x evga 1070 ftw
8x2gb 3000mhz ram
m.2 960 evo 1tb ssd
650 evga g2 power supply
1070 would be cheaper but I think I would also have to get a better power supply and my current one would be fine with a 1080 ti
It's writing like 5mb per minute when idle, that's like 2.5tb a year. I know it won't kill but it does contribute to its life time a little bit, can you make it write nothing or less? I only know its not superfetch, prefetch, or any program.
i have corsair k70 and sometimes when i press y or o it types it 2 or 3 times instead of 1, is it possible to fix this somehow? I don't want to send my keyboard back for a small problem but its annoying
Just so that when you click the windows icon in the bottom left corner the menu doesn't come up, I don't feel like explaining why but I have my reason.
