    It's the 24 pin one lol. So if I get the external optical drive and plug it in via SATA, it'll be fine to install windows?

    I haven't bought anything but the fans and case yet (still saving :P) however I have an old optical drive from my brother's old system. The problem with it is that the motherboard I've chosen doesn't seem to have an HDD connector, which is the only cable that the optical drive supports.

    I'm looking to build a new PC, and the case I've picked does not come with an optical drive slot. Would I be able to use a separately purchased disc drive that could plug into my motherboard via usb, put a windows 10 install disc into it, and boot from that?
