  1. I sweaped the ram and it will not boot at all now. I don't know what else to do at this point if not calling a service to repair it.
  2. Yep just like that no error message. I did a ram test and nothing was found. Since the computer didn't start correctly I did a windows repair and just when I was installing stuff is it did it again... So it's not ram and not the ssd. Might be the power supply or the gpu? How can I test that?
  3. Hi all, I noticed this issue a week ago but was very random, happend 1 or 2. I needed to update the nvidia drivers and this moring the new windows update also came. Today I had 7 crashes already. The computer will just shut down with no error message what so ever and then restart.. Once I saw a C:drive repair but that's all. It's not the temperature of the cpu (always between 30-50), the view riability shows just a crush of remsh this morning and then only "windows was not properly shot down" I updated the drivers for nvdia. I restared, did a virus scan. I used the computer normally only few pages of windows and i worked for a while, then I opened overwatch and BOOM crash again. Is the gpu failing? I bought all the parts 6 mouths ago so they all have warrenty. It's a new desktop, specs are : Mobo B350 asus prime-plus Ram 2 8gb sticks corsair vengeance 2900 power supply 650w corsair CPU ryzen 7 1700 with the stock cooling GPU gtx 1080 ssd : samsung 500 gb 850evo hhd : toshiba 2 terabyte I still can't figure out if it's a software or hardware issue but at this point it might be a hardware going to failure type of situation. Please help.
  4. I had no issue so far exept that when I plugged the rgb cable in the Wraith Spire cooler to my motherboard Asus Prime B350- plus the ring was always glowing green instead of red? The colors where some kind switched so I unplugged the cabled and I tried to plug it the other way but now the ring will not light up?! The motherboards lights are lighting fine and also the AMD logo is fine, only the ring will not emit any kind of light. I tried to unplug the cable, plug it again in different directions and nothing changed. Also I did all of that while the pc was NOT connected to the electricity. Is there a solution or is my cooler just not so cool any more? PS: My bios and asus ai suite are updated.
  5. Thanks for the tip. I actually found some pretty good solution like this Monitor Asus MG279Q for about 600 euro that I hope I will get on some discount for black friday or other.
  6. Hi amazing community! Thanks to your advises I finally have my wonderful new pc. An amd ryzen 7 1700 cpu with 16 gb of ram and a gtx 1080 gygabyte g1. BUT...I bought a monitor few months before for necessity and since I didn't know how good my future pc would be and I didn't have much cash I bought a 60hz BenQ GL2760H (27 inch monitor). So this monitor has a terrible contrast ratio of 1000:1 and the whites are much stronger then the blacks. I basically have 3 tones of dark and 7 of whites on the 10 scale. As I do lots of b&w drawings I need a better screen for this. Also what bothers me the most is the fact that now that I have a gtx 1080 I can game above 60 fps in all games. So yeah, I think a minimum 144hz will be important for me. I don't think I will need 4k or much more than a standard 1920 x 1080 resolution. I can compromise on that but I would like at least a 25 or 27 inch as I got pretty used to this dimension of the screen. I was thinking since the BenQ was around 150 euro I could spend around 500 euro for the new one. I will buy the it in november hopefully with some sales and I will buy it in Poland so you can list me the price from any site because I will need to find a corresponded for the my territory. Ps: would be the Asus Strix XG27VQ a good choice?
  7. I checked on the net and the issue was with the BIOS of the motherboard not supporting ryzen 5 chips and only updatable with a ryzen 7 so I think I'm gonna be fine. I also hope that the motherboard is going to have the the BIOS updated to bios 1.3 v since on the package it's says AMD chips...
  8. I already have the monitor. It was the first I bought because I really needed it at the time. My laptop's screen what having some serious issues and this one was the best choice for the price I could get. I think if I can get the better gpu I will buy a better monitor in a year or so. I think that If I get only 1 stick of 16 gb of RAM I can get the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X amp! edition for 540 euro. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/zRPnD8
  9. I'm sorry but I'm a noob in this...what do you mean with dual channel? In regarging of which component?
  10. It's only about 86 euros. The cheapest are 50. Those 40 euros are not going to make the deal. Also that case is soooooooo pretty. I'm in love with it. The gpu is has no price because it's currently out of stock but I would buy it form another store for the price listed before 350 euro.
  11. Yep, zbrush for modelling, some audotesk softwares like maya e 3ds max. Rendering I will use mostly keyshot I think. It what I used before at school. With my current pc I'm heavly using photoshop and other adobe softwares (and it's a torture) because I don't have the power to do the 3d stuff.
  12. Thank you for the advice! I'll check this right away! Thank you. Though where could I spare some money? I'm thinking maybe I could by less ram for now or less memory since I have already 1 tera of external space.
  13. Hello you good people! I finally decided all the parts of my new computer! My first build computer yey! BUT...Now I'm kinda thinking...maybe I could do better? The only part that is making me think this is the GPU : MSI gtx 1060 6gb Gaming X for 350 euro. My budget is between 1200/1500 euros. My screen is not the best for what I do unfortunatelly (the black are pretty bad and the whites are too strong). I do 2d art and soon I will do 3d art modelling and rendering. My screen is BENQ GL2760H. My question is... should I buy a better GPU for that money or for the screen I have is this enough? The alternative is : Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X for 564 euros Please advise me on this, I don't want make a mistake that I will regret for the rest of the life of my computer. This is my build https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/bXZfbj
