  1. I will keep that in mind and will look into that idea after few more suggestions arrive. Thank youuuu.
  2. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 100-15ibd. I replaced my keyboard for it is not working anymore. I removed the old keyboard and put the replacement keyboard I ordered online. But it would not turn on right away. I tried removing the battery and charger one by one and at the same time pressing the power button for a minute. Nothing worked. I even tried removing the CMOS for 30 minutes and reseating the RAM and HDD. I also tried powering it on using the Novo Button but it also does not work. But recently I noticed a pattern that when I press the power button, it wont boot up and the power led just dies after 2 seconds. But after an hour, and I press the power button again, the laptop turns on normally as if there are no issues and it will work even if I restart it. But after a few hours of it turned off, the same situation happens. I always need to press the power button an hour ahead of when I want to use it. Someone help me please. I really need this for my class. Thank you!
  3. Hi guys! I think I have an issue about my RAM slots. First of all, I have an MSI B350m Bazooka motherboard for my Ryzen 1500x CPU. It has 4 ram slots but I only use one for that is all I can afford right now. My RAM is a Kingston Hyperx DDR4 2400 8gb single stick. As indicated by the motherboard's manual, I shall use the DIMMA2 slot which is the 2nd slot from the cpu. I tried putting it there but my pc won't boot up so I moved the RAM into the last slot which is DIMMB2. Luckily it worked. But I am really wondering why does my single stick ram not working on its proper slot? Instead it worked on the 4th slot which is used on dual sticks. Is that ram slot damaged or not? I am sorry for some of you that might think that this is a stupid question. THANK YOU!
  4. Thank you for the quick responses. Have a good day!
  5. Hi everyone! I have a RYZEN 5 1500x (never been oc'ed). My idle temps are about 38-42 degrees Celsius. Is that normal? My cpu temperature when gaming reaches about 55-60 degrees Celsius. Is this normal too? I am only using the stock cooler that came with the cpu. This is my first time having an AMD build and I am not quite sure about my system's behavior. Please enlighten me. Thank you!
  6. UPDATE!!! I have updated my BIOS already to the latest version and yeah it improved the POST time. From 1 minute boot-up to 25 seconds. Thank you guys for your fast responses. Have a good day!
  7. Btw, how long does this whole updating of bios take? 5-10 minutes?
  8. Thank you for your great responses. I will update you if I have updated my bios and solved this issue already.
  9. I have checked my bios version and it is " 1.1 " In case I update my BIOS, what file should I download here? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-BAZOOKA.html I cannot update right now for there is a storm and I cannot assure that the electricity won't go out. I am sorry for my stupid questions it is just I saved money so long for this build haha.
  10. Hi! Thanks for the response. I am somehow new to building pc and I am afraid of bricking my motherboard. In case I do not update my bios and be contented with the long post, will it do any harm to my hardware?
  11. Hi! Recently I have built a new Ryzen Rig. Here are the specs:(nothing was overclocked*) CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x Cooler: Stock Motherboard: MSI B350m Bazooka GPU: Galax 1060 6gb EXOC White RAM: Kingston HyperX 8gb 2400 ddr4 (single stick) HDD: WD Blue Caviar 1TB PSU: Seasonic 520 Watts Bronze 80+ Fully Modular Case: Tecware Edge TG On the first week of use, I experienced no issues. All temps are good and the bootup is as fast as you would expect an OS in HDD would be. BUT 2 days ago, I have noticed that suddenly my PC takes about 45 seconds to 1 minute to get into the login screen. I realized it was not the bootup process, it was the "POST" who is actually taking too long. The bootup only takes 10-15 seconds. I checked my motherboard's ez debug LEDs and noticed that the cpu and dram would light up respectively fine for a few seconds then on the vga led, it would take a very long flash of light. I saw several post about this issue and they said that they updated their BIOS. But I was wondering if it is the BIOS why would this happen to my system after a week of no problems with it. I mean if it is outdated then why have I used it perfectly on the first week. And I have checked the latest BIOS and it was released a month ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
