    Double check if you have LEDs to desolder. I also recommend you purchase a switch remover/puller. It makes it very easy to remove switches from plate mounted keyboards.

    You have to overclock the panel to get above its maximum refresh rate. Should be in monitor settings somewhere through the buttons built into the monitor itself.

    FTW has a far better cooler. I would take that over the SC2 depending on the price jump (if it is ~$20-45 more, take the FTW3).

    I would buy a single Quadro RTX 8000 for $10,000 (estimated price but whatever). I want 48GB of V-Ram for playing crysis at 5 FPS.

    Not sure either. I have heard good things about the EK ones, and haven't used Koolance in any build before. I know I would trust EK fittings over Koolance, even though I believe Koolance to be pretty good. I think JayzTwoCents uses the EK QDC fittings in his test bench, with compression fittings on each end, not sure though.

    What if they took a pre-existing heatsink and filled the gaps between the fins with TIM. I think that would be a great video..

    Definitely get another 360, the sole 280 (even the SR-2) is not enough. The SR-2 series performs better than most radiators around 700-800 RPM, so good choice with those. I would recommend the EK QDC fittings instead of the Koolance if you want them. Just so you know, Barrow IS NOT the OEM for Bitspower fittings. Barrow is made in China, and Bitspower is made in Taiwan. Barrow still makes VERY good fittings - just know they are not "the same" as Bitspower. As for Biocides, a silver kill coil is only advisable if you have NO Nickel in your loop (only copper, no nickel plating). I would recommend Mayhems or EK coolant with biocides already in it.

    I have no idea about the 98Hz. It may have something to do with the G-Sync HDR module and older displayport versions or your specific GPU. Did your old pc have a different model 980ti than your current one?

    He is saying that your 980ti has DisplayPort 1.2 ports, the monitor needs DisplayPort 1.4 to run at 144hz, 4K, and HDR at the same time. DisplayPort 1.2 DOES NOT support HDR to begin with, so if you want to use HDR you need a newer GPU with DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

    I recommend you look at this chart: This testing, courtesy of GamersNexus, shows a pretty good idea of AIO with and without Liquid Metal. Don't bother with liquid temp, as it is irrelevant as the liquid doesn't exceed 60C. This was tested using a Kraken X62 with 2 Corsair ML140 Pros. I recommend a good 280mm AIO with a Gen 5 or Gen 6 Asetek pump with better fans than included, for example the EVGA CLC280. An AIO is ONLY recommended if you delid with liquid metal, otherwise you would need a custom loop to keep it below 90C.

    According to the GamersNexus teardown of the card, it is a founders edition PCB. You are good to go!

    GK64 has a lot of issues sometimes. And the shift key is 2U, so custom caps become a lot harder to get. Also, the switches tend to pop out when pulling keycaps (this hotswap board specifically is the only one that does this).

    The ASUS Poseidon cards cool worse than aftermarket blocks, have aluminum air cooling fins in conjunction with a copper block, and have issues on some batches of cards. It is always recommended to get your own block and install it yourself, they usually have too much thermal paste on them as well. They are a massive 2.5 slot card, opposed to a 2 or even 1 slot card if you go with an aftermarket block on certain cards. The fins are also ALUMINUM, and in some areas contact the copper, which you may be ok with, as it would take MUCH longer to corrode because oxygen is the medium of particle transfer (gas), versus a water-like substance (liquid). I personally wouldn't. I would recommend a Heatkiller block from Watercool or an EK block. The EVGA FTW3 has a better vrm (doubled load-balanced 10+2 phase = true 5+2 phase, but the 5 is doubled to 10) vs the asus strix (same VRM as Poseidon, Regular doubled 10 phase = true 5 phase X2) and a better warranty, so I would take that instead. The Poseidon also is reported to have some VRM issues.

    They are very good and reputable. Just don't use the really crappy stuff they make. Use the more 'high-end' stuff instead.

    M50x's are really bad for their price. The m50s are a bit better, but there are still much better options for its price tag.

    Have you recently added another PCI device to your pc? You say your slots are filled and the 4790k only has 16 PCI-e lanes. This may be your problem, Nvidia requires at least 8 lanes for your GPU, probably 4 for your NVMe SSD , and that leaves only 4 more for a few other devices. There may not be enough lanes for your sound card, causing it to not work properly/at all.

    Just wanted to point out about fittings made of actual silver in any loop as it corrodes nickel. The bitspower fittings should be fine but I would order lots of extra tube because the glass may not be perfectly round and not fit the fittings with some pieces you buy - so if you buy extra you wont have an issue of not having enough fitting pieces of glass.

    Should be fine. I would look at SingularityComputers' videos on custom cables, they are really good. They use 16AWG on all cables but sata cables where they use 18AWG. 19AWG should be fine though.

    If OP is using ANY nickel in his loop, he cant use the silver fittings (actually made of silver that is). It will corrode the loop because of the nickel.

    You need to increase fan speed or add a 3rd fan to the front radiator. Also, I would recommend running your GPUs in parallel, so have two tubes in between the gpus connecting them, like this: (Not mine) This will make the temps slightly hotter than before, but both GPUs will be the same temp. I would be more worried about coolant temp instead of component temp. If your fluid is at more than 50C (with it is not) then I would be worried. Your coolant and therefore component temp cannot be lower than your air temperature in the room. That temp of 53C for 2 GPUs is pretty normal for an airflow restrictive case and two 360mm radiators. I see you have X299, if your are using anything higher than a 7920X then I would use at least a 360mm radiator alone for just the cpu and a 480 (total area) for 2 gpus. Also, what speed is your pump running at, if it is less than 50% then I would recommend speeding it up a bit.

    FYI. I would recommend a HardwareLabs GTR in Push/Pull instead of a monsta 80mm rad. They perform way better at a lower thickness.

    .81 is really low. What radiators are you using? Those fans are not good for radiators, but if you are happy with your temps, keep them on them. I recommend that you choose the SilentWings 3 PWM (Non PWM if you want to use them with an Aquaero because the PWM breaks the fans with it), Noctua IPPC, or BlackNoise BlackSilentPro fans.

    I reccommend BlackNoise BlackSilentPros, specifically the Pk-PS (140mm) and PL-PS (120mm). Otherwise, go for the Eloop B12-PS (or B12-P for even more performance at higher noise) and B14-PS (B14 is 29mm thick, instead of 25 so be aware for fan mounting screws). For more info on fan and rad reviews, I HIGHLY reccomend you look at http://thermalbench.com/ and search for Noctua and Blacknoise so you can compare them to TONS of other fans.

    Not sure if ASUS is needed. But I think the main intention was to be able to use the Corsair fans with other software.

    This software apparently allows you to use Aura to control other companies' RGB products. Have yet to try it myself, but if it does work, this would be amazing!
