  1. Yes and a pin was bent. I fixed it and both memory channels are now working perfectly. I still don’t understand why it worked previously, anyhow it is working now Thanks everyone for helping out Cheers

  3. I bought the motherboard as part of a working system. It had only 8 GB in Channel B and it stopped working without any memory being added or removed before.
  4. I bought it used, but it looks like new.
  5. MoBo is in mint condition, no dust or anything. Both slots look identical.
  6. It is showing that the 3000 MHz DIMM is running at 2133 MHz, so it should be fine. Also this still does not explain why single DIMMs are not working in one slot while working fine in the other one.
  7. Hey guys, I need some help troubleshooting a RAM problem. Spec: Ryzen 5 2600 MSI A320M PRO M2 V2 Memory Crucial DDR4 8GB 2133 MHz GSKILL DDR4 16GB 3000 MHz This motherboard only has 2 slots, so it is impossible to have a wrong RAM slot configuration However one of the RAM slots is not working. The system will keep restarting when it only has a single DIMM in the non-working slot. Both DIMMs are working fine in the other slot. So I suspected the RAM slot to be dead, however when I put in 2 DIMMs, both show up in BIOS, but only the one in the working slot is used. See screenshot below. Any ideas? The slot worked previously. I reset CMOS and I flashed the BIOS with the newest stable version. There is a beta version though, should I try that? Thanks in advance

Yeah, waiting for RDNA2 and Zen3 might be worth it, however then I might be waiting until end of the year I found this gem of a Thunderbolt card GC-TITAN RIDGE 1.0 CARD, which seems to work fine on AMD.   11. I don't like dongles on the go and I need thunderbolt to connect it to my eGPU driven monitor setup at home. A combination of those two would be perfect
  12. Hey guys, I'm looking for a high-end workstation laptop to replace my ageing 15" 2014 MacBook Pro. The OS does not matter, as it will be running Linux anyway. The new MacBooks are out of question, as I won't buy a laptop with a soldered SSD.   13. Ok, I see available wireless keyboards aren't cutting it. Let's take wireless of the list then. I have a background in embedded systems, so converting USB to Bluetooth shouldn't be too hard, given there's enough space to fit a decent battery, bluetooth module and charge circuit.

So here's the requirements list I came up with: - Tenkeyless layout - Compatible with after market keycaps (so Cherry-compatible I guess) - Wireless - No RGB nonsense - Tactile silent switches (Cherry Browns or better) Nice to have: - Black ABS double shot keycaps - Heavy metal plate - As low footprint and low profile as possible Budget: < $250 I know that wireless mechanical keyboard are quite rare, so I'm also open to DIY kits.   21. Hey, I want to build a Thunderbolt 3 Expansion Box, that should be an eGPU and an expandable storage solution in a single enclosure. The box should use 2 Thunderbolt Cables one for the GPU and one for storage. It would also be nice if the storage could be accessed over the network. Requirements: - GPU that supports 2 4k displays and some light gaming (e.g. Overwatch, ...) - 12 TB in RAID 5 (maybe with a little SSD Cache) - Silent case with dust filters and a lot of hard drive bays. I don't know if such a build is even possible, but it would be the ultimate docking system for my laptop as I prefer always working on the same machine. Thanks
