  1. Currently the system has 64GB Corsair Vengeance Pro Series: CMY16GX3M2A1866C9. This RAM is clocked at 1866 MHz, but isn't fully compatible with the mac pro, therefore it actually runs at 1066 MHz with ECC disabled. I bought some A-tech RAM 8x8GB that runs at 1333MHz and should work with ECC. Just have to figure out what to do with the Vengeance RAM now, because I have no use for it. I wonder if there is still a market for it.
  2. I was wondering if anyone knows what RAM would work with this system. The machine is originally a 2009 Mac Pro 4,1 that was manually firmware flashed to a 5,1. The CPUs have been upgraded to 2x Intel X5675 6-core CPUs. I am looking if possible for a memory combination that can produce 64GB running at 1333 MHz with ECC enabled. I'd appreciate some links to the RAM I would need to produce this if possible. Otherwise, I'd appreciate any additional information regarding upgrading memory for this computer that would be useful to know. Thanks!
