gonna be honest, not really a good deal, you should always be able to get a 1080 for that price with the 2070 already out.

You can still get them shipped from areas like the uk or france for a small delivery price, and it would still be cheaper than getting one new

R5 1600/2600 will do, Photoshop don't scale with core count above 4 and games usually don't go past 6.

what is the full model name of the PSU?

you can stay with this PSU till the warranty ends

You can only plug it into the GPU.MOBO HDMI will not work if you use a dedicated GPU.Also you could have just tried in the time you spent on this post

    No problem.

The Honor View 10 is apparently not IP rated either, but at least on paper it seems pretty good. For me it would be too big though (as well as the Oneplus 6) - I have small hands, even the Samsung A8 I'm currently using is actually a wee bit too large for me, but the S9 was too expensive for me at the time. But if size of the device is not a problem then it looks to be really good.

I would mind the fingerprint reader at the front bottom though - I came from the Xperia Z5 Compact, which has it on the side in the power button, and although it's not really ideal and I hope my next phone will have it under the screen, I like it on the back, especially with the gestures (swipe down for notifications and quick settings mainly). Again, related to the size of my hands, as I probably wouldn't be able to hold the phone while reaching for the sensor.

I can't immediately think of a reason why it wouldn't work. Just be sure that the metals and plastics you use in your loop do'nt get damaged from the oil.
The thikness of the oil might be a problem though. Your pump would have to work harder to push around all that oil as it is a lot thicker than water.

Ansger got a reaction from Bensemus in Please don't do ads like this.
I don't really see the problem. Yes there is an ad at the end of a video and no you don't get a 2 weeks notice and a big red alert message saying an add will be coming up but i find the ads easy to distinguish from the actual content. The ads are for the same product a lot of the time like TunnelBear and Synergy so its easy to know that when they talk about that, that it's an ad. Also, the very obvious segues that are announced as being a segue to an ad make it obvious its an ad and not the content.
The predictable placement of the ads also "adds" (pun intended) to the distinction between the content and the add.

Looks good but you won't be needing the thermal paste. The CPU cooler comes with it reapplied.
I would lower the SSD space (as i would just put the OS on there) and go for faster RAM. THis however depends on RAM prices.

This is so wrong it is not even funny, all WD aside black are garbage that dies on me every time, Seagate Barracuda is the most reliable well priced HDD in the market, I have several of those at home, the oldest is 6 years old already and it has the very same write and read speeds from when it was brand new.

I do like Toshiba drives too, specially 2,5 inch ones though so I'll accept it in second place

Ansger reacted to aezakmi in Watercool outside?
You could just put the rad outside your case, not outside your house lol
If you have a full ATX case you should be able to mount it using the rear fan mounting holes and make 2 holes somewhere around, of course you'll have to use a fan to mount it and it'll need 8 screws (4 for the fan-rad holes and 4 for the fan-case holes)

It seems that you have your mind made up, so why ask for advice?

Do your thing.  Learn from the experience, whether good or bad.

Post a build log and pictures when done.

    This thread seems pointless.

I looked into it a little more (the main reason I was distracted) and through task manager you can set it to run at log on, then you just need to remove the original run at log on for that program and it'll start automatically without the uac prompt (you might see a flicker of the cmd prompt window instead, but it will only be an instant and you don't have to interact with it

if it's just for the OS and some basic stuff, go for the cheapest you can find. I have a SanDisk 120 GB  SSD and it serves me well. I know however tht some people have had reliability issues wit theirs and swear by a Samsung SSD (i think it was @Lurick that told me that). However, if budget is you main concern, go for the SanDisk one (or just the cheapest one you can find).  (there are minor performance differences in speed but that won't really be noticeable when booting up i think).
You live in a EU country so the unreliability is not really a risk for you. You can send stuff back within 14days of getting it without questions asked, then you have 6 months of warranty where you don't have to prove that you did nothing wrong to the product. After that you have a normal warranty until 2 years after buying the product. so if something goes wrong with the drive in 2 years time you will get a new one or a refund, you will just have the inconvenience of having to install the OS again.

Long story short: go for the cheapest one you can find.

Drop the 1600X. Go for the 1600. It comes with a cooler so you won't have to buy a CPU cooler separately. You can OC the 1600 easily on that stock cooler and get 1600X performance.
Also, do you need the features of the X370? Normally they aren't that much better than the B350 variant.

The 1070 ti should be enough for respectable 1440p gaming. I think however that the 1080 will be a better investment if you have the extra cash.

Ansger got a reaction from NerdModeEngaged in Is this amount of IPS glow normal?
this much is not normal for a decent IPS pannel. That much light bleed must be a defect I think. In the 600-700 price range this is unacceptable IMO.
