  1. Linus I would love to see if you guys could actually test the cables that come with drawing tablets. As of right now one of my display tablets is unable to actually display and can only be used as a typical drawing tablet. Cable problems are typically an issue with some of these and among other issues I just keep wondering is it because they cheap out on a cable in some form. Hell I'd send you guys my extra just to see what you get from it xD Also are you thinking of letting the artists of LMG ever start doing drawing device reviews? I'd love to see it!
  2. I'd pay double for them to make a padzilla version of their desk mats, i absolutely adore this design and wish I could get it on a padzilla size mousemad haha.
  3. Alright it is possible but I have to buy them but the people who actually made those quick disconnects. Which is CPC, they have threaded npt 1/4 version of the fitting, and Koolance sells the adapter to make it G 1/4.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, I mainly chose barrow since I didn't want all that branding bitspower covers their fittings with and heard they were pretty good as an alternative. Any reason you recommend the EK QDC over Koolance? I know koolance had that issue with the black color corroding but they seemed to have fixed that. I also liked the Koolance because of the choice to do the compression fittings instead of the clamps, I dunno if its possible to do compression fittings instead of the ekwb ones.
  5. Yes. I will be getting a drain valve. Biocide I didn't consider so if you have any recommendations that be great!
  6. So I am planning to liquid cool my threadripper system. At first it was going to be hard line but I gonna do soft tube for ease of maintenance. The specs are Threadripper 1920x Asus Rog Zenith Extreme Sapphire Rx Vega 56 Nitro+ Limited Edition G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600 mhz 512 GB Samsung 960 Pro SSD 6 TB Ironwolf Pro Hard drive Caselabs S8S Case This system is to be used for game development (level design, 3d modeling and rendering) and some of my other hobbies (possible going make it be able to dual boot as a hackintosh in the future) Some of the components I have chosen to far: Watercool Heatkiller Threadripper CPU Block Bykski Sapphire RX Vega Nitro+ GPU block (the only people who make a block for this gpu) Alphacool Alpha tube 16/10 mm Barrow Fittings Hardware Labs Black Ice SR2 MP 280 6 Corsair ML 120mm Fans White LED 2 Corsair ML 140mm Fans White LED SingularityComputers 150mm Reservoir Combo Any other parts I should consider? I was thinking getting a second hardware labs black ice sr2 mp radiator 360 and possibly getting the koolance quick disconnect fittings for making maintenance easier if it ever needed to be done. I possibly will be switching out my mobo with one of the x399 refresh boards but was wanting some feedback!
  7. I think it was just the cpu wasnt secured in good enough, no errors upon booting! I had to get the step stool (im literally only 5'2" and didnt want to put the pc on the floor) and put enough pressure to makes sure 2 and 3 got threaded.
  8. I will say I did struggle alot trying to get screws 2 and 3 threaded to screw them in and never could seems to do so
  9. I don't see any damage but I'll take some photos and post them to see if you can see something I cant
  10. I did initially when putting the pc together and saw no damage but ill check again! This is a FoxConn socket so its probable.
  11. I bought the board 'used' from Microcenter, however it had never been used when I had talked to one of the employees so it was essentially just open box.
  12. So I've been updating and making sure everything on my computer works since I finally got to build it after working on it for almost a year. Other than the raid update the last thing I was going to do was update the BIOS, this is my first desktop build. I used the EZ Flash BIOS method to do this. At first with updating to the most recent bios my computer had gotten stuck on a black screen with it saying BIOS is updating and wouldn't budge, so taking a risk i forcefully shut it down after about 2 hours of waiting. I cleared the CMOS and turned on the computer once more to have it give me the same screen, waited another hour, it didn't change, did a forceful shutdown again. Note I didn't get any errors during the BIOS update process (the light turning solid) So it did successfully update from what i understand. I repeated this process with 2 previous bios updates, got similar results. I checked to see i was frequently getting stuck when the computer was booting and checking the harddrive with it at first having Code: 07; Updating EC1 Code? I then settled on going back to the intial BIOS and got it to successfully boot and even log into windows but now i am seeing Code: A2 Detect HDD. I decided to try one more time after formatting my usb to update to the second to last Bios that people on the forums was saying was stable (Bios 902) and again got it to successfully boot to windows but I am still seeing the Code: A2 Detect HDD. It did take it a few tries before it could finally load. Was wondering if there is anything I can do to solve this error, is it something I should worry about? I would love to start tweaking things in the bios but I would like to get this solved first. Some other known issues with this Asus ROG Zenith Board: 2 out of 8 RAM slots are dead (ram is in all of working slots) Stripped screws where the ROG symbol led is where you can place another NVME drive I am planning to replace this board when Threadripper 2 is released, so I rather not have to RMA it. Build Specs Asus ROG Zenith Extreme Motherboard Threadripper 1920x Enermax Liquitech 280 32 GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM (3600 Mhz CL 17-18-18-38) Samsung 960 Pro Evo 512 GB SSD Seagate Ironwolf Pro 6 TB HDD Sapphire Nitro+ RX Vega 56 Limited Edition Seasonic Prime Ultra 1000W Titanium PSU Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Nothing is overclocked! Thanks for reading, since this is my first desktop build I'm rather new to this, this is supposed to be my game dev computer. Let me know if there is any other info you need.
  13. I just wanted to double check if thats ok, I got all the pc parts for my build finally after gathering them since...June-ish/July-ish of last year. For an enthusiast, workstation build since I didn't buy it all at once I wanted to check if everything posts. Would it be ok to do it without a cooler for the short period? I was planning to liquid cool the build so I didn't know if I wanted to put money towards an AIO cooler/Air Cooler just for the future or be patient and get all the liquid cooling components. If it just be better to wait until I can cool it what would you guys recommend in terms of cooling temporarily? I wish EK's liquid gaming was compatible with the threadripper chipset. I was thinking enermax' cooler but that might be a waste for just a test post.
