How does microsofts dick taste? unlocking a feature that dosent come with it is borderline piracy and i yes i know i own a license you need to hop off your high horse do i care enough to 100% properly articulate my point? no cause i dont know you and i can already tell id hate you, they leave everything but the actual application in the operating system, TECHNICALLY i own a licence to every copy of windows since 98' (i own my own business and so did my father, we both use servers to connect our terminals and i have physical copies of every basically every edition home to server) my father before he passed preferred running newer copies of windows since his employees did, I on the other hand hate it and am happily fine with windows 7, but now with games certain new games wont run on windows 7 so i have to upgrade my personal pc's and am i gonna spend another $200 for a pro copy no the fucks have already gotten thousands of dollars from me i dont think they need to bleed everyone for every last cent, besides home editions will run better if not the same compared to their more feature filled counter parts, why sacrifice even 1 frame when i can save money and have the same copy. But i count those as business assets so i dont use them for personal use. I keep my own copy so i may use whenever i need or want. I own plenty of pirate copies of windows aswell as legitimate copies, i customize my OS when possible for maximum efficiency. Microsoft practices milking of the consumer which i dont really agree with, how is removing features and trying to lock me out of being able to disable others a good practice? im not a teen girl downloading her favorite songs from shitty sites thats filled with viruses. Do you enjoy being told what your allowed to do and not by a corporation thats selling you a product? Microsoft loves playing god, or police, or lawmaker whatever you call it and it gets worse and worse every year, gpedit is useful and a main feature i use to limit the operating systems on my companys terminals, i learned and grew up with XP and windows 7 (AKA prefull greed mode) where you got all useful features and enterprise and server copys were that, they only included server or enterprise useful software, not bloatware.
