  1. What do you mean neweggs money got stolen? like they overpayed for that part? Just curious.... What do you think of the 14700k? worth it? Thanks!
  2. Budget (including currency): None Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 2k-4k Quality gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a 4090 Rog Strix, EVGA 1000 PSU, looking to upgrade CPU, and motherboard as well as case. No budget limit, but looking for the best deal. Im eyeballing a 14700k for $400 right now, as well as this https://www.newegg.com/p/13-144-505?Item=13-144-505&cm_sp=product-_-from-price-options motherboard. Its on sale for the next 5 hours for $250. Is this a steal? Thanks guys!
  3. Hey everyone! Need some major help. So I currently have a newer PC build that i've been using for about a year now. I just installed the new COD and during the game, it'll crash anywhere between 1 min-30 mins constantly. The computer will straight restart with no "Crash" other then restarting instantly. So this had me researching on how to fix it. I did all settings change in game to start out, nothing there fixed..... Next up was a reinstall of the game... That didn't work.... After that I checked my drivers for NVIDIA... That didn't work.. So I then checked my dump files for the game and event viewer. Turns out "Kernel-Power Event ID 41 Task 63 error" is the error thats causing the crash... Next thing I did was use "VERIFIER" and check every single driver that can cause a crash other then microsoft. Logitech did have one bad driver logi_joy_vir_hid.sys I reinstalled the G HUB and hoped that fixed the issue... It didn't. So I thought maybe it could be my PSU at this point. This is where it gets interesting... I ran OCCT and did a few stress tests. I did the RAM, CPU, GPU, and POWER. All ran perfect fine, however the moment you turn on POWER, the computer crashes within 30 seconds, usually 2 seconds or less. So that leaves me with possibly a bad PSU. However, does anyone know how to increase the power for the PSU if possible? Or for sure know its faulty. Or maybe im missing something? Any help would be amazing. Been chasing this thing down for weeks as I work full time. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps.... P.S: Never had a issue until I started playing the new COD if that helps.... 4. So quick update. I sold my current computer for $1,200 so that’ll go into my next build. I’m going to go with the new intel processor, what graphics card tho? Should I do a 3080ti?
  5. Everytime I overclock my computer crashes. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I’m Assuming it’s a huge difference between 3070 and 3080? Also how much do you think I could get for my pc?
  6. Would I see a big difference from my 1080ti to a 3070? Like my game was hardly running battlefield 2042 at 60fps. Is that because of my processor?
  7. Here is my current build. I was thinking of that, but then I was told my case wasn’t that good for air flow? So I figured just a whole new one at that point.
  8. Budget (including currency): $2500 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Ultra Gaming @ 1080p sometimes 4k. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hey everyone! I'm currently in the market for a new computer and I'm looking for a nice computer that can run any game I throw at it, especially with Ultra settings. This is my current build: Ryzen 7 1700x Asus 1080ti 32gb ram I see myself struggling with most newer games. Hard to hold 60fps and constant drops. I have a budget of $2500 and I heard that Prebuilds are just as good in this market, then building one. So here is my question, how good are the Cyber Monday deals for computers, through newegg for example. Is it worth waiting? If it is, what should I be looking for? Obviously a 3000 series, but I'm not sure about processor. I feel like my processor is definitely bottlenecking me currently, and wouldn't want that to happen in the future. I already have monitor, keyboard, etc.. Just need computer. Thank you.
  9. So with those two should just be drop in and use right considering they’re compatible to each other? And I’m not sure if I already asked, but do you think from the 7 1700x I’d see a big difference going this route with gaming? I see myself freezing quite a bit on games like arma on high to ultra settings and never quite knew what was holding me back.
  10. Could you help me find one that has quite a bit rgb, WiFi included as well. Never had WiFi on one so why not haha. I appreciate both of your help! And of course possibly see if it’ll work with everything I have? Definitely want to make sure of that haha! And if you could link me to that processor or a good processor. Again, thank you so much guys. I just want to make sure I buy something good for the pc and the right one!
  11. Which one of these two should I go for the motherboard? I was thinking razor since its a bit cheaper and rgb looks good as well lol. Or is there any other motherboards I should be looking at? https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Strix-B550-XE-Gaming-WiFi/dp/B08NRV2RQH https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b550-taichi-razer-edition/p/N82E16813157970 I just wanna make sure im getting something that'll last me years to come, don't mind spending extra on something thats good!
  12. Would I be able to use the 5600x without a motherboard upgrade, or would I have to upgrade it to see any difference? And what exactly is multicore tasks? The main thing I do is browser and gaming and thats about it.
  13. Do you think I’d notice a massive difference with the 5900x? And how much should I. Sell both of them for?
  14. https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-strix-x370-f-gaming/p/N82E16813132989 this is my motherboard I also included the rest of my setup just to compare. Only difference is I have only one graphics card now and upgraded to the same ram but 2 more so to 32gb.
