  1. UPDATE Bought a new cooler, bequiet Pure Rock. Temps went down 8-10°C and the 2600X boosts ~50MHz higher now. Still lower than I expected, but maybe i just got a bad chip. System is a bit quieter, though.
  2. Yeah, I wondered, too. Looking at the Clocks its just idling in 4.1 GHz. Maybe just a "buggy" spike on HW Monitor.
  3. I left everything at stock settings/auto. So HW Monitor tells me its ~1.41 V at idle/browser tasks. Prime95 4threads: ~1.325 V
  4. Hello, just upgraded my machine with a Ryzen 2600X and 16GB Flare X RAM: Installation went fine; running with STOCK Cooler (Wraith Spire) and STOCK settings, No OC, at an ASUS Prime B350-Plus motherboard (BIOS is up to date). Tested it with some gaming. BF1: Temp. 75°C Clock. ~3.9GHz on all cores. F1 2017: similar Actually, i expected different results. Like a bit lower temperature, but much higher frequencies, since it is the X model, so like 4.0-4.1 GHz. Running with prime95 12 thread it even throttles to 3.75 GHz and 90°C+. prime96 4 thread : 3.85 GHz and 90°C+ So please tell me, are these temps and clocks normal or not. And if not, did I just have bad luck with my CPU or do I have to tweak specific settings? Greetings
  5. Sounds amazing! Thank you for the help guys.
  6. Yes, that looks pretty good! I just have one question: Isn't the CPU a bit slow with 3.0 GHz? I read about CPUs with like 4.2 GHz.
  7. Hello, I want to buy a new PC-System and need help doing that, because I have trouble choosing the best parts! 1. Budget & Location Location: DE Germany (Europe); Currency: € [US$ are ok, too. Prices aren't that different.] Budget: 1200€ I am able to push another 100€, but only if it's worth it. 2. Aim Gaming Maybe a bit of live-streaming, too. But that should not be in focus of this build. Games: Mostly competitive games (CS:GO, League of Legends, PUBG, some BF1 and a few Racing Games like Project Cars and F1 2016). So I prefer performance over quality; high FPS. And of course web-browsing. 3. Monitors I have a 21,5" 60Hz 1080p monitor and want to add a 24" 144Hz 1080p monitor with this build. The monitor should be more into the cheap area. Nothing fancy, main point are the 144Hz here. So a total of 2 monitors. 4. Peripherals Don't want to change or add anything here. Just the monitor mentioned above. 5. Why are you upgrading? I bought my current PC (i3 CPU, ATi 6800 GPU) back in 2010, the FPS are getting worse with every year and the PC looks his age. Also BF1 is not playable. So I finally want an upgrade. I want to use the old system as a Backup-PC, so I won't recycle any parts. (6. Brands; Favorites) I do not have a favorite brand, I just want the best parts for my purpose/budget. An SSD for Windows 10 (already have a key) would be nice, but is not essential. As a case I am thinking of a modest, black or grey case without fancy stuff I have to pay for. But it should be made of good quality parts. Silence or noise isn't an issue for me. Greetings
