  1. I was just looking up trenching and conduit. great solutions thank you!
  2. Does anyone have any good solutions for outdoor office internet. I am starting a job that requires home internet to be wired to my work computer, however, I plan to have an outdoor office space to work in. My first thought was to just literally run a really long cable from the modem and drill holes though walls to get a single ethernet cable into the office and just run it under ground into a switch. I wanted to see if there is a more proper way to do this or if there is a better solution. The office wont be terribly far from the home, so I know there are cables like online and best buy that are long enough to reach. Also any ideas for outdoor offices would be sweet. I am probably going to get a custom tough shed built so I can install a window AC unit and insulation etc. So far that has seemed to be the best fit for me so far. I'll attach a picture of the shed I got quoted for.
  3. I'm currently looking into cloud storage for my business. We are on MacOS using MacBook pros but what I'm wondering is, is there a way to store our files on a NAS or something so that we can access that data from anywhere since my employees work remote and im often on the move. I don't want to eat up local storage on our devices, so even if there's a cloud option. I'd like some redundancy. Also, I was planning on checking if Notion offer this but, is there a way to setup either the NAS or files on mac so that you must be on a specific VPN to access?
  4. Budget is 4k or less. Pretty simple. I want most bang for my buck in prebuild since rtx 3090s are 3k by themselves off someone on Facebook. Send me links.
  5. I'm having a hard time finding a solution. But I'd love to have a switch or two of some type that I could just click and switch my 3 monitors between my work laptop and my gaming desktop. And switch my mouse and keyboard between them as well. Also any recommendations for triple monitor arms would be amazing.

  8. I am really not stoked how my computer runs so hot and so loud for games like Minecraft and Fortnite I legit just want someone to tell me what to do to fix this.
  9. Yes it was the top model you could get just before the RTX came out. it was around 3 grand i think
  10. It says i have 17.2GB right now but i need to look into that beacuse i have no idea why lol and my other HDD has 666.3GB
  11. Where is the Linux God from the videos lol. I LOVEEEEEE POP! but im not liking the way some of my games either dont work or hoops to make them work. Since I spend 8+ hours coding though its AMAZING for that and I dont want to switch it. I have projects im in the middle of otherwise id just OS wipe, install Windows 10 and then dual boot POP but in this case I need to keep working and need to dual boot windows. Can someone help me? I've tried but its not working the way I thought it would and I havent finished/backed up all my projects elsewhere. (so please i know i should back up and stuff lol but just help a guy out. I know there are geniuses out there who could spare me the backup lecture)
  12. I heard good things about HP open. I'll have to look into those.
  13. Mine within a month had to be sent to Razer because it was defective (I cant remember what was going on with it tbh) but it tooks about 2 months and they sent me a referbished one even though they said it was going to be repaired not replaced, but they lost it somewhere in the process and so I got a referb , it ran much louder than i would like, for its cost i could get MUCH more power. it was excellent build quality but i def regret getting one. RTX also came out litereally 1 month after i got mine so the value of mine flew off a cliff.
  14. I have a RTX 2080 i7 9700k desktop. I travel a lot and will be even more for work after Covid. and frankly, it would be nice to code outside or from the couch etc. I dont like sitting at my desk for 8 hours then if i wanna game also sitting at my desk. I can move my work around different places of the house and then my desk for me time lol.
