How's it going guys, I'm trying to help a friend get himself a laptop and we've found a pretty good deal for one its an Asus TUF FX505GT. Thing is the laptop comes with a single stick of 2666mhz 8gb and I would like to get him another stick so it runs on dual channel but I can't seem to find the brand of the already bundled ram stick. Could buying a different stick of 8gb 2666mhz get dual channel to work?

Hi y'all I'm facing some issues. Recently my system boots waaay slower than before. It would boot in 6 seconds and now task manager reports 17.3 seconds. No apps or other settings were done. my windows 10 is rather optimized and has most of the useless stuff turned off or uninstalled. Here's a speed test

Hi have you looked at the m.2 slot and noticed maybe a silver screw where the ssd should be put? I also bought an m.2 and thought I dont have the screw but it was actually put in the hole in the motherboard

formatting was my first idea because the hdd has only 1 partition (bad tbh) but I thought there will be a work around it anyways thanks all

Okay so I am planning to buy an ssd so I can have a faster pc overall. The ssd I want to buy will be only for the OS. Can I move windows from my 1tb hdd to the ssd without formating?Currently I have only the hard drive which besides windows 10 is filled with games and documents.

Hi! The thing is this has never happened before the update.. I tried searching for some option in the settings but all was the same.

I noticed after installing my last update that the phone steadily increases the brightness when the facial recognition is trying to search for my face. If I turn it off by clicking the X the brightness will go back to its original state. Anyone else got this? my phone is Galaxy A8 2018 btw

Well I have a last resort to get the laptop hdd in and install windows on it but I dont think the pc hdd has any problems I used it today with no problems at all

and where should I do that if thats the only pc I have and the screen is black

the whole pc was bought just a year ago its an wd blue 1tb

by the way a thing I noticed is that the hdd is being used quite at its full potential while om the black screen

so here is the thing I used my computer today just to play some League of Legends matches and turned it off nothing else. Suddenly something has come up and I have to use the pc but here is the thing. Upon turning it on a "preparing to repair drive C:/" appears. After it finished the pc just got into this black screen with mouse cursor "state". I dont know what to do.. here are some things I have tried Using safe mode(it boots into safe mode but same thing happens btw I had to turn off pc by the power button to get it to safe mode) using windows+p menu which came up but nothing changed(also tried with a 2nd monitor) using a installation media to get to the repair windows thing but nothing worked there (startup system restore did nothing) it says that there was an error while attempting to fix so here I am.. I cant really reinstall windows as I have only one partition and it is full of important stuff which cant let go obviously..
