  1. Yes I have it manual. Works fine at 3200 @1.35v. But I need to set it manually. Xmp messes up Windows. As soon as Windows start login in it crashes with a BSOD. In the voltages I can't see what voltage SOC is in. I can only add more 0.006v at a time.
  2. These are the options I have. Also in bios the memory was at 3300mhz+. That's not right.. On SOC core I can only add +mv on top. It doesn't say what is the voltage currently.
  3. Then why is the mobo with the gpu light on after it happends? Right now the ram is at stock voltages @3000mhz. It works at 1.35v and 3200mhz no problem. I never messed with the timings. The ram I had before was at 3066 at stock too. Either of those don't work with xmp on. It would BSOD. The one I have now doesnt boot to windows with xmp on. Btw I have the corsair vengeance rgb pro now and before I had the corsair vengeance led, both at same speeds. I have this cpu since june and it worked fine untill about a month ago, so why start now? I din't made any change..also using the ryzen power plan.
  4. Hey guys. I hope you are all good. I need opinions about a problem I'm having with my pc. So, for the past month or so, I was having random shutdowns with kernel power erros (41 (63)), and after alot of troubleshoot I find out the memory I had was full of erros. Altough it was confusing because sometimes memtest passed without any erros and some with 3; 12; and the last one I did with over 10k erros. So I contacted corsair and send the memory back. Now I have another kit wich I bough while corsair doesn't send a replacement. But the error still persist. At random occasions. Te pc still freezes at random occasions, and at restart I dont get any signal in monitor. And the mobo GPU light stays on. For twice now I was able to kinda fix this temporarily by reseating the gpu, after that It worked. While that happend I also tried to put it in the second PCI slot, but it was the same. I bought another gpu to test as I think it will probably because of gpu. What do you guys think? Here are my specs btw: gigabyte aorus x370 gaming k5 ryzen 2600x / artic cooler esports sapphire rx 580 8gb seasonic s12ii 520w samsung 850 evo 250gb and 2tb barracuda drive Thanks in adavanced!
  5. Take a look at this test... Finally after 3 tests one of them with only one error I got this one. I think is safe to say my memory is done..But why are the tests different every time I do it?
  6. But I repeated the test to send a pic of the errors to corsair and it has no errors.. In the meantime the error is not occurring. I've bought another ram to test also.
  7. Hey there. For the past month an a half I started getting kernel power errors that crash my pc on random occasions, either while gaming, watching YT videos or while in desktop. It freezes for 10-20sec and then restarts, without any blue screen. I did what I could software whise, (clean windows install, change power settings, fast boot off, update drivers, etc) to trie to solve it but it didn't help. So I think It should be a hardware problem. Either ram or motherboard maybe, since I can stress gpu and cpu fine, and because of that I also don't think is psu problems. The thing is, I'm having trouble figuring out what it is. I left the pc in a pc store to diagnose it and they said it had alot of errors in ram. After I bring it home I changed the ram from channel A to B (Dual channel) and did the test again with memtest86 bootable. The first test took about 2.30h and I had an error on stage 7. After that I repeated it and left the pc doing a test for 5 hours, and it finished it without any error... Could that indicate that the problem is with my motherboard? I will trie to change the memory to channel A again and repeat the test to see.. I have the latest bios and most recent drivers and my windows installation is recent. Also I don't have temp problems. This problem has been so anoying.. Any help or tip would be nice. Thanks My specs are: - Gigabyte x370 gaming k5 - Sapphire RX 580 8gb - Seasonic S12 II 520w - Ryzen 2600x with artic freezer 33 esports one (No OC) - Corsair vengeance Led 3200mhz(2x8gb) currently at 3066mhz ( It runs stable since last bios update at 3200mhz at stock voltage but I lowered it to see if it would help)
  8. You mean windows power plan? Already trie that but it's the same. I post this on overclock.net but there's no one here that can help me? Just wanted to know if its normal and if I'm doing in right?
  9. Hey guys. I have a new ryzen 2600x paired with corsair vengeance led 3200mhz (2x8gb) and a x370 gaming k5 board from aorus. I don't understand much about overclocking. I've bought this processor and paired with a artic freezer 33 esports one, for lower temps because this chip doesn't need to be overclocked and performs better in low temps. The thing is I've noticed that the core voltage is a bit high (1.4v+) and fluctuates alot together with temps. While I write this, according to cpu z its having speed up to 4.25ghz and voltage between 0.804v and 1.5v. Is this normal? I can trie to set the cpu voltage to -0.20 or -0.40 does this affect the performance? I saw something about ryzen power plan and the minimum cpu usage should I leave it to 90% or lower? Heres an example: Also, about the ram. My board doesn't support 3200mhz unless is OC so I trie that. All I did was to put the speed to 3200, change the voltage to 1.35v and I saw this timings in a forum and give it a trie: 16-18-18-18-36. It's working fine. I can't enable xmp because my pc keeps crashing but If i do it manually it works. Is this fine? If I want to up the speed I just do it and If it crashes I up the voltage (max 1.5v lets say) correct? I just want to be sure if it's all fine. Thank you very much!
  10. The xmp gets the speed to 3200 and raises the voltage to 1.35v. But it's not stable. I have 2x8gb sticks and since i've bought it I wasn't able to get it to 3200. But at the time it was due to compatibility. Once in every 2-3 bios updates launch, I update mine and trie to raise the speeds. With the latest one I'm now running at 3133 so eventually I think ill get to 3200 stable at stock. After that I may trie to OC. Do you really think It could be faulty? If yes They're still on warranty until june.
  11. No. But even at auto if it isn't working at the top speed thats due to board compatibility right? Altought with the last bios update I'm now able to run it at 3133mhz it seems, as before it was at 3000. Need to use it more to see tough. Next time I enable xmp I will take a look at the voltages. It's taking alot of time and bios upgrades to get to the actual speed of it but I'm getting there.
  12. After some tests I think I can't run the memory at full speed still. My system gets unstable with several blue screen and freaky behaviour. So I think thats the problem.. Will trie to set the speed a bit lower like 3133 or 3066 to see.
  13. I can't enable the xmp. I get error IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL at some point.
  14. With the ez oc it bots up fine I will trie with the xmp profile to see. Altought it seems to raise voltages to get the same 3200mhz, but not quite sure. Need to check
  15. Hi guys. I have a gigabyte aorus x370 board (gaming k5) with corsair vengeance led 3200mhz. With the last bios update I was finally able to push the ram speeds manually to 3200. I do this in bios just by setting the memory clock speeds up. I also have the ez overclock tuner and the xmp profile but never use neither one . If I enable the ez oc tuner to the 3200 setting or the xmp profile is the same as changing the speed like I do? Or do I get best performance on either one of those?
