  1. Thanks. So, your recommendation is to use two 32GB modules and not add 2x16GB modules for a total of 4x16GB?
  2. Hi everyone! I have a system with two G.Skill Trident Z5 6000 (CL36-36-36-76 1.30V) modules (F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5K). I wanted to add two more, but that same model is nowhere to be found. At least in my country. Is it OK if I combine with this: G.Skill Trident Z5 6000 CL36-36-36-96 1.35V F5-6000J3636F16GA2-TZ5K? I highlighted the differences. Basically, the voltage and the last latency number. Would it be OK if I do that, or would I find compatibility issues? Thanks!
  3. I've been trying to use Gigabyte Control Center. I install the latest version on Windows 11, when I open it and after I click Update Center it starts loading (animated circle) and then simply crashes. There's no way to do anything else. What can I do? AppName GCC.exe AppVersion 23.3.21.1 AppTimeStamp 8c20eafd ModuleName ntdll.dll ModuleVersion 10.0.22621.1485 ModuleTimeStamp b7f0154a ExceptionCode c0000374 FaultingOffset 000000000010be19 ProcessId 0x1ba8 ProcessCreationTime 0x1d96dc844d14d1d AppPath C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\GCC.exe ModulePath C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Thanks!
  4. I'm not sure. I mostly edit video. I wanted to do it just to take advantage of the RAM capabilities.
  5. Hi everyone! I have a system with two G.SKILL Trident Z5 6000 (CL36-36-36-76 1.30V) modules (F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5K). I also have a Z690 Aorus Ultra that includes the following Memory Part No. in the Memory Support List: F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5RK (Which is similar but not identical). The BIOS version is F5 (but I also tried with F6a version). The memory part is not included in Intel certification program list for XMP 3.0. CPU Intel 12700KF. The thing is that when I activate the XMP profile in the BIOS, Windows starts crashing when playing or just doing web browsing. I checked the profile, and it matches the memory specifications (CL36-36-36-76 1.30V). I contacted Gigabyte and they said that it has nothing to do with them because both the motherboard and RAM were certified for 6000MHz speeds. That it was an issue with the processor that is not certified for those speeds. Do you think this can be solved by Intel or Gigabyte in some way? Or am I just out of luck with this system? Can I learn to manually overclock to try to reach lower speeds or is it pointless? Thanks.
  6. Thank you. But do you think I can use the old AIO with the new motherboard and CPU?
  7. The issue is that I think, that model number is for the kit not the AIO. I don´t recognize that model for my product.
  8. Hi everyone. Is there a way I can use my Corsair H100i V2 on the new platform LGA1700? It is for an i7 12700KF. I checked the compatibility list, and it includes "Hydro Series™ H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 240mm" but I´m not sure if it will work with my model. Thanks.
  9. So, I don't know exactly what the problem was but apparently it has something to do with configuration. The solution in this case was to use a tool called SG TCP Optimizer and select "Optimal configuration" on the bottom right. Then click apply to set the new settings. After that the download speeds are as good as any other device. Thanks all for the help.
  10. It is a good router enough and other devices download at full speed. Thanks.
  11. Thanks. The problem is that other laptops and desktops are not experiencing the same issue. Download speeds are 100 Mbits on other devices.
  12. Hi. I am having an issue with download speeds on some websites in my Asus Zephyrus G14. For example, if I go to fast.com I get 100 Mbits download speed which is OK. Steam speeds are good as well. But some sites with good servers get capped at 10 Mbits or less. Some 20 Mbits or less. I know this is a problem because I can download files from the same servers (Serif software, Razer software, and most software websites that I use) at full speed from other computers. I have the latest drivers from Intel. The Wi-Fi signal is strong. Power saving mode is to maximum performance in the power options. Boost Throughput is enabled. Uninstalled GameFirst and nothing. Do not use VPNs or Firewalls. I am not using any other software that can use lots of broadband. What else can I do? Thanks in advance.
  13. Thank you. Yes, I think applied a lot of force. And yes, I think I will stop turning everything off from now on. I just remembered that I turn off the UPS because it makes a buzz sound that you can't hear during the day but in the silence of the night, I can't stand it I will also try to find a replacement holder. Thank you very much for the help.
  14. Oh no. Sadly I was trying to insert the battery once again and I damaged a metalic connector that makes contact with battery so there's nothing else to do. I suppose I will have to work with BIOS defaults. it is very very difficult to work with the battery with this motherboard because of the armor. In order to remove the armor it is necessary to remove the GPU, AIO, fans ... thanks @ShrimpBrimeAnd @Windows7ge for all the help.
  15. I can't find that information. But I tested the batteries with a laser and they are working fine.
  16. Didn't know that. I have the UPS connected to a smart plug and the PSU connected to the UPS, so I just turn on the smart plug and turn on the UPS when I'm going to use the desktop and that is very few hours a week. I don't have any good reason to do that. I thought it would save power. About the second part the answer is: no. The motherboard has been working fine for years. CMOS Jumper pins are right.
  17. The behavior is as if the mobo doesn't have a battery at all.
  18. Thank you. Yes I tested with a multimeter and the voltage is 3.23 volts. And I also tested with 2 different new batteries.
  19. Hello everyone, Yesterday I started my desktop (Motherboard Asus Maximus IX Code) and it shut off 2 or 3 times before post. I noticed that all BIOS settings had been lost. I supposed it was the battery and today I bought a pair of batteries, and the problem persists. What can it be? I must say that I use an UPS that I always turn off at night so if I keep the UPS on everything works fine but if I switch off the PSU or turn off the UPS all BIOS configs are lost again. What can it be? I have had this MOBO like 3 and a half years and I had to change the battery once. Probably because the PC is disconnected from power like 80% of the time. I tested the batteries with a multimeter and another device and are working fine (expire on 2025). Don't know what else can it be. Thanks for all the help.
  20. Thanks. Would you trust this one? https://www.amazon.com/Portable-RAVPower-20000mAh-High-Capacity-Compatible/dp/B082PGS78L/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=RAVPower+PD+Pioneer+20000mAh+60W+2-Port+Power+Bank&qid=1593654021&refresh=2&sr=8-3 I have use for a few months and seems to be fine and of decent quality. It has 4.8 stars on Amazon, and it is advertised as a power bank even for laptops.
  21. Thank you. Yes, that is what I tough. My main concern is that is going to overheat the battery as sometimes happens if you use a slower charger on a phone.
