  1. I did make sure that the clip was fully engaged before turning it on. I just haven't been touching the system for the last few days and it just has been sitting without cover in my desk with no power. But, I think you might be right, the GPU might've been bumped since for some reason even with the clip fully engaged and the GPU slotted in all the way (it had an audible click) it is still quite loose if I didn't screw it in (I forgot to mention that the build was without a case since my friend had his own). Thanks for the help!
  2. I'm currently working on an older build for a friend which I've completed and tested for several hours last week with these specs. i7 7700 H110M 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz GT 610 (As a test GPU) Today, I tried to turn in back on to check if everything is ok before he picks it up, and to my surprise it doesn't post and for some reason started boot looping indefinitely when I tried to restart it by unplugging the power. I removed the graphics card and for some reason the PC boots up as normal, loads into windows and works perfectly fine. I then reinstalled the graphics card to see if it was dead and for some unknown reasons, it still turns on and works as normal. Is this quite normal or is there something that I should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. It's basically for Unreal Engine 5 development. Thanks for the reply
  4. Thats nice to hear. Unfortunately I don't really have a lot to spend around since I'm still on university, so upgrading to something like a 2060 is the most I can go for. Thanks for the reply.
  5. I'm planning to upgrade my 1650 to a used 2060 in a few weeks since my old card cant handle GPU heavy development. My current specs are: Ryzen 5 3500 8x2 3200mhz DDR4 AsRock B450M-HDV KLEVV 256GB M.2 NVME 500GB Seagate Harddrive 500W PSU (I forgot which brand is it, but I'm pretty sure its at least 80+ Bronze) Do you think the upgrade would be noticeable? And can I even run a 2060 with my current PSU?
  6. Yep tried resetting it did nothing, Thanks for the advice though
  7. Today I came back home to find my AOC 24G2Z is having problems with artifacting. Everytime I turned it on, it will display the AOC logo with an artifact that to be honest isn't really important as it doesn't effect general use but this just makes me worried since I've been using it for a year without any problems before this. I've tried turning it on and off, unplugging every single HDMI and DP cables but nothing changes. Is this normal for AOC monitors in general? WhatsApp Video 2024-01-03 at 3.30.29 PM.mp4
  8. Anything that's quite affordable. My new motherboard has an m.2 slot
  9. Actually I might change my mind about it, just read the review around it and people kept saying that it would probably die in a few months. Can you give me a few options for a budget ssd? thanks
  10. Thanks for the help, sorry for the late reply. Yes I technically didnt have any form of backups for any of my data but tbh I don't mind losing them. I'll probably just get some of them (which are mostly my family member's data not mine) and do a hard reset after. Been thinking of getting a "MidasForce" 512GB m.2 or their sata ssd. I've never heard of them before, so any ideas on how good they actually are? PS: Wow aren't you from the last thread that I posted? thanks for helping me again @Radium_Angel
  11. Well I'll probably get a new SSD if thats the case. Actually does my fps issues have anything to do with my drive? thanks for the answer btw.
  12. I've been using a Western Digital Blue 1TB harddrive for approx. 5 years now. But these past few weeks have been quite rough. My system feels really sloppy right now, opening up discord and switching between servers sometimes produces lag that lasts for a second or two, opening up games (such as valorant) could take up to 5-7 minutes, and I've also been getting a lot of stutters lately in game and a few occasional freezes during daily day-to-day use (such as browsing the web and writing a paper/a few lines in py. Booting up could take 10 minutes and for some reason everytime my pc boots up (or restarts) my drive automatically scans itself. Does this mean that I'll have to replace my harddrive? Or should I do something else with it? Thanks for reading, any suggestions would be very helpful/appreciated. Sorry if my grammar isnt the best as English isnt my first language.
  13. I did as you said, and it gives me a "component store is repairable" which probably means it has some sort of issue or something? well I'm just going to scan it and restore it if needed. And yes, I did this in the first place.
  14. I'm also trying out your solution. Sorry for not replying to it, I was trying to figure out on why on earth does my Windows refuse to update. Finally updated it, and will proceed to try out your solution. Thanks in advance.
  15. Already done both, but maybe you're right. I'll try and do it again but tbh I'm already over this and probably would just throw my drive to the bin in a few days if this issue is still occuring
