Hi guys I'm having some trouble finding a casing for a Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS XTREME (XL ATX) + Zotac RTX 4090 system. I've installed these in a LianLi 011 Dynamic XL for now, but it barely fits (Side panel cannot be closed due to the height of the GPU). There aren't a lot of options for large form factor cases where I'm from so I'm fairly limited for choice. One case that is available is the Corsair 7000D Airflow. Will the 7000D be able to accommodate the TRX40 and the Zotac 4090? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It'll ramp up when necessary. Try running a game/ benchmark once you're in windows with Afterburner's OSD turned on and you should see the frequency fluctuate.

So what's your total allocated budget for the entire build?

There isn't a discernible difference between the 4690k and the Xeon except that the i5 overclocks a lot better than the Xeon, so I think you should stick with the 4690k. It seems like you've cut corners on the PSU, which I must oppose. Depending on your budget I'd recommend that you check out some PSUs by Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling and Super Flower.

Well that's a mighty good PSU you have there. Overkill, but bloody good. If I was to make any suggestions I'd say maybe add a few more sticks of memory.

How do you expect to power all of this? Hopes and dreams?

My "go-to" PSU companies are PC Power and Cooling and Seasonic. I have an X-650 by Seasonic and it's rock solid stable. If it dies (which it won't, it just won't), I'll buy another in an instant (If I can find one )

Depends on what you play really. I have a G500 and a Sensei and they're both excellent. Like many above have said you can't really go wrong with a G502. Other suggestions I could make are Roccat's Kone Pure and the Mionix Naos 8200.
