I know the title is a bit vague, but I'll do my best to explain it here. I have an old laptop, and I can't name the product number or specs off the top of my head, as I got this laptop when I was much younger, and I had no interest in know these things at the time. I just wanted to "game." That's besides the point, the main problem I'm facing is that no matter what I'm doing, the laptop can even be sitting idle, and it gets uncomfortably hot. When browsing the web or trying to play games even like Old School RuneScape, the part of the laptop that exhausts the hot air is blazing hot, and if I'm on it for too long it just shuts off.
It's by no means a brand new, powerful laptop. However, it should easily be able to browse the web, in my opinion. It used to do it perfectly, and stay relatively cool. I was thinking maybe it's because the fans are dirty, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to properly clean them. Any help?
