I recently inherited a Linksys LGS528 28-Port Managed switch from my father after he passed along with a gaggle of computer hardware. My question is this, what can I do with it for a home setting that I couldn't do with a regular unmanaged switch. Or better still, what benefits are there for me to use this switch instead of a unmanaged one.
