Every AIO sold in US is either made by, or lisenced by Asetek. Except those who put the pump somewhere other than on the cold plate. Only Swiftech and EK can escape this curse now. I know some people defend Asetek doesn't have the monopoly. However they certainly has the biggest slice of the pie. Big enough to influence the market price. Let's see if the price of AIO will go up or down.
 
Maybe that is a good thing. It forces other manufacturers to innovate and come up with new ideas and designs. We'll see.

They seem to be suing them for using a design that looks almost exactly the same as theirs.  I mean just look at that picture on page 1 of the Asetek next to CM unit, they look identical.
 
If you want AIO's to advance, tell coolermaster to stop taking other people's designs and come up with their own shit.

more importantly why is he being suspended, he's being punished for doing nothing wrong, the police and school should be apologising profusely.

Maybe if the device really looked like a bomb and he acted like it was a bomb. But if he shows it to his teacher... And even if the police then come to check, which is okay in my book, then they can see it isn't a bomb and leave again. Pressing charges for something like this is just silly
