  1. I have an ASRock B550 Steel Legend with G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 16GB 3600Mhz CL18 and whenever I enable XMP in the bios, it boot loops a couple of times then eventually boots into Windows, but it's running at 2133. I just updated the bios for the board and doing so did not change anything. I tried slightly increasing the voltage and the same thing happened. Is there anyway I can get my ram to run at it's rated speed? I'm kind of a noob when it comes to messing with memory so any help will be appreciated!
  2. My computer appears to turn on with all the fans spinning at a reasonable volume (including the GPU), but I get no display, whether I used the displayport cable from my monitor or the HDMI cable from my TV. My motherboard(Asus Prime X570-P) doesn't have any troubleshooting features so I can't tell if there's any issues while it's trying to boot. All of the power cables from my power supply appear to be plugged in properly. I cleared CMOS and re-seated my GPU(Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super OC 3X White) and still had the same issue. I don't have an iGPU and currently don't have any other GPUs I can try out. Is there anything else that could be wrong/anything else I can do that can help?
  3. P400a will definitely be better in terms of airflow. What do you mean by spacing?
  4. Some people just like the convenience of having a mic and headphone built into one. Solutions such as the modmic(which I use) definitely make it somewhat more convenient, but then you have to deal with 2 different cables.Having a $50 headset with everything built in sounds more appealing to the average consumer than buying a $30-40 pair of headphones and pairing them with a $40-50 mic, no matter how much better the quality will be.
  5. Might be building a new PC soon. Currently debating whether or not to go with AMD vs Intel. I know AMD is definitely better value wise, but with what I do(Music production in FL Studio and playing games that aren't really new at all), going for Intel makes a lot more sense due to the higher clock speeds, thus faster single core performance. Is the trade-off with having to spend a tiny bit more going to be worth it? I plan on moving my 1070 into this PC because I really don't need anything better than it ATM plus moneys. do you still watch Linus's videos with the same kinda enthusiasm now as when you joined the forum? i completely lost interest in the videos for some reason, used to watch  as much of his videos whenever i can, now i barely watch 2 or 3 videos total in a month. mostly by accidental clicks.

I'll still watch his vids every now and then, but they're not entertaining to me anymore really. The clickbait-y thumbnails and video titles kinda turned me off and am just overall kinda over most tech content in general.

same vibe with me, it lost it's natural feel to it. their audience now is "everyone" so they tailor scripts & contents that way. Bad thing is that the click bait is actually working , each video gets like a mill on average these days.

anyways what are you up to these days?

  8. It feels worse that I'm aware of what's wrong with me as a person and don't change due to not knowing how to than if I was ignorant about my issues

yep, been there , but i knew how to get over it, that's a weird spot. for me it was lack of motivation mixed in with arrogance and on top of it a form of forced laziness .
