  1. I was sitting on the right side front row, there were only about 5 of us dolphins/orcas, and we each (ONLY) got the MSI Lucky Brick "legos". Dennis literally was about to hand me an AIO then faked me out and continued to the back, lol! I was unaware that people in seats could stay for WAN Show, so I dipped around 30 minutes before 6 and walked around before I was asked to leave. I really enjoyed it and I do agree that there were a few kinks to work out for next year, but it seems like they are already on the revisions, to the meet and greet, signs and lines and labeling areas better, giveaways, etc. All in all, I enjoyed my week in Vancouver and hope things line up for me next year so I can make it out again. The only bad thing that happened to me was that my two custom screwdrivers where stolen in shipping with USPS, of which I spent a day driving down to Blaine to ship home to me. I did claim insurance so I wasn't entirely screwed. Hopefully next year there is a better solution to send custom drivers back, if that is they bring DYI screwdriver back. I would definitely do it again.
  2. 5700 XT is usually on par with 2070/s
  3. Some "Team Radeon" Newsletter subscribers received the following email before 8 am CST, I received this email at 7:39 AM CST, I have been subscribed to the newsletter for a few years now. What are your thoughts on this, essentially they gave "fans" a chance to buy before the public, I was able to place in cart at 7:40 and kept on refreshing until 7:42 as it became out of stock. Can AMD claim that this was not a paper launch, and that they let fans get it first? Does Andre get ten whole buckaroos? five? (AMD fanboi here, was gonna scoop one up but decided on a quest 2 and kinda regret it ) Best wishes to everyone still trying to obtain one, Good luck!
  4. I was wondering if it would be possible and how many points could you get out of running F@H on a AWS instance and would it be worth it, would it be considered cheating? Was just an idea that popped into my head lmao.
  5. Thanks for the advice, thats mostly what the tell is, wait for benchmarks, I'll wait Okay, waiting it out then will be a better approach. Great, I'll wait. Guess waiting is the smarter choice xD, thanks guys! This helps so much!
  6. Spec list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CosmicStorm/saved/qLs4nQ I plan on getting big navi or ampere, and was wondering if I should get a R9 3700X now for a price of about $220 USD, which is like -70 off of retail, or wait for benchmarks of the new cards before I buy any better CPUs. I've been looking around and have seen mixed responses in the community and was thinking that surely a 2700X would bottleneck the next generation, but I'm always wrong. The plan was to just buy a GPU, but seeing ampere performance, I think I need a new CPU and PSU (550w rn) All advice is appreciated!
  7. I have a Gaming PC that I think I should sell before Navi21 releases, what do you think I should price it at? Location: Wisconsin, United States I would like advice on how to put it on the market and for how much. Building Price: $990, whats the best I could flip it for? I plan to use this money for a Big Navi and b550 build Pcpp link: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8BjVYH CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor ($210.00) Motherboard: MSI B450M BAZOOKA V2 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($84.27) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($73.84) Storage: Kingston A400 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($0.00) Storage: Kingston A1000 240 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($44.30) Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB GAMING X Video Card ($475.00) Case: Thermaltake Core V21 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($63.29) Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($40.00) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit (Purchased For $0.00) Total: $990.70 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-05-26 13:11 EDT-0400 Any advice helps!
