  1. I can change out the gpu for my old one, and I've already lowered the settings as low as it can go.
  2. Hello, For the past few days I've been experiencing the game (Valorant) dropping in fps and my audio cutting out. When I stand still it'll only happen a couple of times a minute but if I introduce fast movement, my audio will cut out for the duration of the fast movement. The audio will cut out for other applications like discord or chrome as well. When I monitor my hardware using HWinfo, I see the temps at normal temps as always, but the CPU clock will jump up and the GPU clock will jump up as well. I've updated all my drivers, ran in administrator mode (was told to do that from websites), restarted pc, but it seems it didn't help. If anyone could help me figure this out, it'd be greatly appreciated and feel free to ask for more information as I probably forgot to list or look for something. 3. Hello so I have a budget of $450 for a laptop for college, i like to lightly game csgo and lol. Also need processing power for developing since I'm majoring in Architectural Engineering. Thanks for the help!
  4. yeah i returned it to the seller, however I got a Noctua L9x65 for $25 so thats a nice little deal, but it doesn't come with the am4 mount so I have to order a separate one.
  5. so it wont work with teh adpater?
  6. Hey everyone, So I just got this Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3 second hand for $20, ik what a steal. But I can't figure out which AM4 mount to get due to it being meant for TR and it just came with the heatsink, 2 fans and with g34 mounts. So do I get this one Noctua NM-AM4-UxS, Mounting Kit for Noctua CPU coolers on AMD AM4 platforms or this one Noctua NM-AM4 Mounting Kit for Noctua CPU Coolers on AMD AM4 Platforms. Thank you for the help!
  7. LMAO I got it, and rgb is just a bonus, I'm looking for a good looking heat sink and fan nothing that looks cheap
  8. I'm looking for something good looking aesthetically, sorry for not being clear, but good enough for OC. Also pardon my stupidity buts HSF?
  9. I mean I already did it with a stock cooler... not even the wraith but the stealth and temps are fine also those are a little too much.
  10. Pardon the messiness, but I finally upgraded! Old Parts: i5 6600k Cooler Master Hyper 212 Kingston 2x8gb 2133 Mhz Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P Enermax Mid Tower Case New Parts: R5 2600 OC to 4.15 Ghz AMD Stealth Stock Cooler Samsung 2x8gb 2400 Mhz OC to 3000 Mhz Asrock B450 Fatal1ty itx Cougar qbx Thoughts about my build. I love how small it is compared to my old one, despite the hassle of the cable management. Also you're probably wondering about the side panel and why it's like that, well it gets a little toasty not that it over heats just gets warm so I'm keeping it open till my 4 noctua fans come in for better airflow. Overall it's just been better and more snappy than my old build so I love it!
  11. Yes, I already OC my ryzen 2600 to 4.15 GHz and the temps are fine. Haven't thermal throttled once, and I've been using the stock cooler in a small case; the Cougar qbx. Also that's without the extra 4 fans i'm planning on buying. So temps is something I'm not worried about, I'm more worried about height clearance. The evo doesn't fit in the cougar either.
  12. Anyone know of one thats not too expensive, around $35 for AM4.
