  1. No, it will work like you Mobile phone when moving between cells. It will require a transmitter and receiver and that's it. Think of it like a way more powerful WiFi Box.
  2. SpaceX Gets FCC Approval to build a Broadband constellation of more than 2000 satellites. Like everything Elon Does this will be a big game changer for worldwide internet connectivity. Just one provider anywhere on earth. And the fact that 50% of these satellites have to be launched within 6 years means this is going to be up sooner rather than later. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/29/fcc-authorizes-elon-musks-spacex-to-provide-broadband-satellite-services.html EDIT: More Links and reactions. https://transition.fcc.gov/Daily_Releases/Daily_Business/2018/db0329/DOC-349998A1.pdf https://www.theverge.com/2018/3/29/17178126/spacex-satellite-broadband-internet-fcc-approval-license-starlink-spectrum https://techcrunch.com/2018/03/29/fcc-approves-spacex-plan-for-4425-satellite-broadband-network/ http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-spacex-fcc-broadband-20180329-story.html
  3. OP what about asking Everyday astronaut or EJ_SA if there schedules allow. Both have big space followers and would get your project out to those in aerospace.
  4. I've used quite a few Canon cameras (My Eos5MKIII is still my go-to DSLR) The prices for these are not unreasonable. If anyone thinks that phone camera lenses and sensors are as good as these needs there head read. Camera lesson 101 is bigger lens + bigger sensor = more light on the sensor/film gives a better quality image. Case in point I can put on a 50mm lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor and put the same lens on my 35mm Full frame sensor I can get closer thus get more detail for the same frame shot. Phone cameras are great for social broadcasting but will never cut it for enthusiast/prosumer broadcast. You can ask Brandon but I think he will agree with what I have said.
  5. Ok fine about the thumbnails it's your choice. But if you haven't seen the latest content then how can you comment on it?????!!!!!??? (yes its clickbait TLDR)
  6. WTF Mate oh shitty thumbnails, I won't watch anymore but you still are in the forums???? Grow up, sub to the floatplane, and get a life. That's the most pathetic excuse I have seen yet, you don't like thumbnails so you have not seen any LTT TQ or CSF content, but you think you can comment on by one thumbnail.
  7. Yes, that's a big challenge. I remember a few weeks ago when John Hosted a FAP for the impossible burger. There were people saying it wasn't "tech" and shouldn't have been made. I disagreed as said any tech should be able to have a FAP not just limited to computers which is what they were implying.
  8. He is a gold Subscriber and gets access to all the forums.
  9. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/technology/uber-app-can-silently-record-iphone-screens-security-researcher-finds/news-story/03b82b166173735d9491ef67f9fd7c05 This is very concerning for all users, and why do they need for connecting to an Apple Watch. Scary stuff Apple. I wouldn't want any app to be able to data dump the contents of my screen and that's what it seems to be able to do. I don't want UBER to know everything that I do on a phone they only need to know where you are, where you want to go or in the case of a driver where to pick up someone. It shouldn't have access to phone lists call times messages facebook and every other app on your phone but it seems they have that now.
  10. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/technology/gaming/xbox-head-phil-spencer-explains-the-companys-plan-for-the-xbox-one-x/news-story/428a4467dec0bcccd07bf640b9f488ad Moving away from VR when it can do it is a big call.
  11. Even if that happened then the parliamentarians would change the law to suit themselves it would pass with bipartisan support without getting any public attention. Once the law is changed then the courts are of no use, unfortunately, they cant overturn a law only interpret it.
  12. Desperate people will resort to desperate measures Adolf Hitler blew up the German parliament to gain total control before unleashing hell on earth. HAAAA funny do you really think that politicians are really going to pass legislation to outlaw something that can get them reelected. Not a chance. That is why it's so important for us to reject its use to show them they are wasting time money and manpower using these apps.
  13. well the ABS has already said that 60% of surveys have been returned so hopefully, it is too late for this but watch out at next years federal election, all sides will roll it out.
  14. Your Welcome @Strayan_Bass Door knocking is not a new political tactic but this is. If you go to house X and campaign for candidate Y but household member X says they are voting for Candidate Z, the campaigner puts that into the app and then that household gets spammed big time. It's not what democracy is about. yes put your view over but if you get a rejection then move on. The best thing is to find out who they are campaigning for and agree so they won't harass you anymore. Saying no or disagreeing will be a big problem in future elections.
