Looks good maybe you could upgrade ram to 3600 speed, it's usually not that much more.

What are you going to be using the computer for? 32GB of ram would be overkill for a gaming PC, 16GB 3600mhz would be my recommendation for a gaming PC. If you already have the 2700x you can mark it as purchased so it's not added to the budget. Samsung SSDs are overpriced you can get a 500GB Nvme drive for only a little more than that Sata SSD, I personally wouldn't get less than 500GB of SSD storage. Otherwise not a bad list, I would just like to recommend you wait until September/October when the new CPUs and GPUs drop otherwise you will regret it.

Ryzen 1700 has the best value for your build. If you have all the money to spend get a 1800x

I have used Kinguine 3 times without fail. You just have to use the Windows automated phone activation sometimes.

HZapperz reacted to Glenwing in Best monitor for League
I don't have any specific recommendations, but just some information for consideration, I cannot tell the difference between 60 Hz and 165 Hz when playing League, so if you've been looking at any high refresh rate monitors I would say it's not very important if that's your main game.

HZapperz got a reaction from Nogghan in Hey guys, I need help with identifying any bottlenecks with my build
Only bottle neck will be your skill level, lol.

This is a seriously solid build, only thing that will bottleneck is the refresh rate of your monitor.

I think you'll have some trouble finding a new card for less than 20$, you might have to go to ebay or craigslist and find a cheap used one. I would say maybe a used 8400G or an old quadro.

HZapperz got a reaction from Zando_ in 1060 6GB enough for 1080p 100Hz?
You might not constantly get the full 100 fps but it would defiantly be a good experience.

If you're like me and constantly look at the fps to see if you're fully utilizing your monitors refresh rate, I would go for a 1070 or 1070ti.

    1) you can disable cortana

    2) you can disable the programs auto starting, it's called "pick up where i left off"

    3) automatic updates are there because 99% of people (including you) think it's ok to just disable them because they don't understand any security risks.

Maybe if you spent some time looking through the settings you wouldn't have so many complaints.

HZapperz got a reaction from raiinyyy in Is this laptop really that "bad"? (PUBG)
So In pubg a 950m really isnt going to cut it.

I had a 1050 ti at one point when pubg first came out, and with some pre launch commands and after shade i was able to get around 70 fps on very low. Very playable

I then upgraded to a 1070ti where I was able to play on ultra 1080p at a constant 60fps.

Cleary you can see how poorly optimized this game is.

My friend has a desktop 970 and he plays on medium and gets around 60 fps.

I would say you made a bad desicion if you bought the laptop to play pubg specifically other wise it would be a decent laptop.

Also the laptop cpu's typically come with 2 cores and 4 threads rather than 4 cores and 8 threads like a desktop cpu.

HZapperz reacted to nitroaid in How much longer is it usable?
Alright sounds good will probably be worth waiting then and maybe buy a new card or maybe buy a used card (like a 1070) if the prices reduce enough.

You could do that since gpu mining is becoming very close to obsolete, you could go for a used card or you could wait for the new series of cards since they will last longer before becoming obsolete.

Get an 8600k its cheaper than the 7700,

Also you don't need an sli mobo if your gonna start off with a 1060 since Sli only starts at 1070's and above.

Also please get a better PSU.

HZapperz reacted to Spotty in Vacuum my PC
Check that all cables to the motherboard are plugged in properly - you may have bumped something loose while cleaning.

Vacuuming can sometimes cause static electricity to build up on the board, so it is possible you have damaged or killed your motherboard. Is it giving a post code (either LED display or beep code)?

Check my topic in the signature. Last option.

That said, the 770 is probably just too slow at this point, and you're lacking a bit in the memory department for this game.

With the ryzen apu you should be able to play league perfectly.

If you want something a little stronger gpu wise, this isn't a bad choice

if you are using HDMI, Nvidia likes to set it's audio out as preferred  usually it seems that the motherboard out is realtek, but your system may vary

More power connectors means more power delivery for better overclocks. Also do not confuse TDP with power consumption.
