  1. I play lots of CSGO and Dota and recently my ping has been extremely high and I am constantly rubber banding in these games compared to my friends who live nearby. I've tried restarting my modem and router, the usual. Hasn't helped.
  2. I'm watching Linus interview Janice right now and I just think it would be really cool if we could get full unedited footage of the calls for those of us who really do want to fully experience what the tech support experience was like for each brand.
  3. Specs are as follows: B350M PRO-VDH, Gtx 1060, Ryzen 3 1200, EVGA 500W PSU, idk case/storage models
  4. New PC, all fans spin and lights turn on but monitor says no signal. I've tried onboard and GPU graphics, tried reseating GPU and reseating RAM. When the GPU is taken out the monitor displays "check input cable". All parts are brand new, and the monitor is known good with only one input so its not on the wrong one.
  5. Thank you,the power and reset switches were swapped.
  6. Building a gaming PC for Christmas and I have everything plugged in properly, but the power button won't turn on the computer. No fan spin, nothing. Steps tried so far are: Making sure all connectors including front panel are secured properly and in the right orientation Making sure power supply is on and plugged in. Re seating CPU
  7. I have a PC with a bit of a weird combo of parts from CyberPowerPC and was wondering how much its worth now. i7 4790k with a stock cooler, gtx 960 2 gb, 8 gb ddr3 1600, 1 tb hdd, windows 10. Mobo is overclockable.
  8. Hey y'all I need some help deciding on what to do with my PC. Currently have a 4790k, gtx 960 (yea weird combo I know), 8gb of ram, and a 1 terabyte hard drive. My plan is to get a 1440p monitor but I need a new GPU for sure to run games at that res. I also want to get an SSD, and 16 GB of RAM. My plan is to get a Dell S2716DG and a 1070ti or 1080. Im not sure whether to get a 250 or 500 GB SSD. I don't really need more than 4 cores but the hyper threading is something I don't want to lose. Should I upgrade? Or build a new system and sell my old one? Any other tips would be helpful too. Thanks
  9. I assumed so. I was just curious if it actually would make a difference if he didn't. Thanks anyway.
  10. I have a pretty simple question: When Linus is bench marking a CPU, or graphics card in a game, is it possible that the drive that the games are held in can provide a performance bottleneck? Would a slower drive that cannot read or write as fast make the game drop fps?
  11. I don't really know where to put this, so hopefully general will be fine. I have a pc with a Q6600, 4 GB of DDR2 at 800 MHz, a 250 SEAGATE 7200 RPM HDD, and Windows 10. I'm planning on selling it but was wondering a couple of things: Should I put a GPU in it to bring up the value? How much is it worth? Would upgrading it any other way be worth it for selling? For any feedback I'm given, thanks in advance. Edit: PC is using integrated Intel 82G41 Graphics from Intel DG41RQ motherboard.
