ok so thats your Public IP gateway from your ISP. So you did it correctly. so looks like the Packet loss is beyond that IP address. Looks like the packet loss starts at 144.130.208.210 which looks to be owned by Asian Pacific Network Information Centre. https://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-144-130-0-0-1/pft?s=144.130.208.210

You should open a ticket with your ISP regarding this.

Its definitively got the clearance. The last heat sink for the top mounted rads uses an ASUS TUF board which has a very tall heatsink on it, so it should fit no problem
Yes, the PSU shroud has a plate you can remove to position the RAD perfectly in line with the front mesh.

I personally modelled it in cinema 4D. which isn't really what the software is for but i have it and i use it allot for other stuff. then i laid the model flat and made a cutting template with all my measurements. and voila

Whelp. I should probably sell up, contemplate life and smack my head on a wall. I actually just didn't think about that at all.

Do you have a budget? There are a few people on here that have PSU Tier Lists etc on their signatures that are a great guideline for what to buy. Off the top of my head, you wont need an overkill PSU in terms of watts, 500-600w would be greatly enough.

Try THIS  within the 500-600w range and get the best for your buck in that range I'd say.

Th iGPU on the 7700K is just fine, unless you want to run some newer games. It'll pay old games (2005) just fine.

Not really new to forums, just new to this one aha. Seems to be lively here still. Will give it another watch, Jayz did this video about the similar case too and why he doesn't use it.

I'd get an R5 1600 over an i5, but the 7700k is the gaming king.

Supply and demand... unfortauntley retailers (and their distributors) ARE taking advantage of customers and have increased their pricing. Someone along the chain of supply has increased their pricing... and the customers are feeling it.

Hopefully the manufacturers increase supply to match demand and the retail chain respond acordingly and lowers prices to April levels.

I agree, there's no need for two 1080's when the 1080ti on it's own is overkill for anything you throw at it. You shouldn't need to really change anything else, it'll run anything for a while to come in my opinion.

I would sell the good 1080 and get a beefy 1080 ti.(AMP Extreme!, iCX 2.0 etc)

    Thanks.

As far as affordability goes, the parts cost about $1500 and the desk materials cost about $500. The only reason why the price tag was even this high was because of the graphics card and the SSD. There are cheaper graphics cards out there, 8gb of video ram is not for everyone. Most games will run fine on lesser cards. And the SSD is completely unnecessary. I only have it because I am very impatient when it comes to load times in games. The SSD cost me like $300 or so. It would be cheaper to just run the system off one regular SATA SSD instead. Really this system was an experimental build at a time when I was not sure when Zen was coming out and I needed a new system, and hopefully I could inspire others to build systems like this. A lot of my friends are Intel fan boys. Do not get me wrong Intel makes "some" good stuff, but I am a die hard AMD guy and I wanted to build an AMDish build that would perform well for not too big of a budget, you know..for my intel friends...

But with the new AMD Ryzen platform and the new i9 stuff on the horizon, I would tell all to just wait before building a new rig. There will be cheaper and better stuff just around the corner. Again thanks.

You should honestly be fine with a 1080 and a 4690K for a while still. Maybe don't upgrade your cpu until games start to want more cores etc, then go to an i7. 1080 will pull its own weight in games pretty well.

I looked at this while at work, had to stop half way at the case out of the box, and initially didn't think much about it. Kept scrolling down afterwoulds and was gobsmacked. I love it!

the results for second application in the video are actually totally fine. that really is enough paste since you only actually need it where the actual die is underneath, which is most cases is the center.
there is nothing wrong with the first application either though. it just spreads it out more.

i personally like the second application more because there is less chance of spillover, or too much TIM, which can be a problem.

however realistically, as far as performance goes, there is no noticable difference. Linus made a video about it a while back

Fair enough. I'm thinking of just putting them into a mini-atx case and using it as a media PC for the time being. Being a uni student, I don't really have the storage for heads of parts and boxes though.

I like that, +1 for being a top friend aha. I see a lot of people here just sell up and move on, my soon to be old parts aren't all that high end, and the low amount I'd get for it wouldn't really help all that much.

    Read again.
And in that graph you shown (taken before the micro updates I assume) the Ryzen is already beating the i5 7400 by 2 FPS (albeit it is the 8 core version)
You only proved that the i5 7400 is slower and does not hit 60FPS...
