  1. This worked perfectly for me using Isopropyl Alcohol instead of WD-40. Thank you for sharing this!
  2. I'm also not entirely sure if it's due to color noise or if it is actually a sensor problem.
  3. I've had this camera since June 2018 and I think I never noticed it because I looked at my first ever images on this camera and it shows up in dark areas as well. I shoot JPEG with the Vivid color profile adjusted to -2 Contrast, +2 Sharpness, +1 NR, and -1 Saturation, though my older images didn't use this color profile and the green artifacting still shows up on them. I rarely process my photos unless they're from travel or are important.
  4. I'm using Aperture priority mode with an iso of 3200 on these images to make it more obvious, though I take images with iso 200 that also have green artifacting like the one below.
  5. My Panasonic G85 has been showing strange green (sometimes purple colored) artifacts especially in dark areas. They constantly pop up in my photos and it looks really ugly. I've put a test shot with a light to dark gradient to show the problem most clearly. The artifacts show up in the top left corner of the image (though faint). It seems like its noticeable more in dark, blurry areas of the image which is a problem for bokeh shots. EDIT: I've posted another shot below this one which shows the green artifacts more clearly.
  6. Recently, I've tried to clean my camera's sensor, and it looks better now, but whenever I take a picture, it shows a black bar at the bottom of the screen for a split second before taking a photo. I'm worried that I may have damaged the shutter mechanism.
  7. That's good to know. How long do you think the hard drive could last at this point?
  8. That's true, but I've seen people online mentioning that even though their hard drives were listed as "good" in software, their drives failed on them in a short time anyways. People have also been saying that a raw value of 0 is best for read error rate, yet the value is pretty high.
  9. Some of these values look kind of worrying and I don't want to lose very important data on my drive. (Read Error Rate and Seek Error Rate)
  10. Hi, I bought an Insignia NS-PCTC8 for my computer and it works fine, but people say that it sucks. I'm wondering how good is it and how it compares to the other thermal paste brands in terms of temperature differences.
  11. Hello, I am trying to make a video with a black and white scene and I can't find where to get the sound effect that youtubers use in their videos. The effect is shown in this video: I want to know where I can get it so I can use it for my video.
  12. I am able to disable the gtx 1070ti and have the program working, but even though it works, it crashes when trying to switch from the software renderer to the HD 630. I don't know what happened, but it was able to work on the gtx 1070ti before. Now it only works on the software renderer.
  13. Hello, I've been using premiere pro for a while and it was working just fine with my gtx 1070ti. But one day when I went to edit, the application would show the little window and do nothing. It would then give me a crash report which says EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I got live support and computer shared from Adobe and they figured out that my gpu was the problem. Even when disabled though, it would only use the software renderer for the project. If I tried to use the OpenCL renderer with my Intel HD 630, it would crash. I've never had this problem before and have uninstalled and reinstalled but it still doesn't work.
  14. Ok, So since my overclock is the problem, what would be the best for videos and games, 120 or 144hz?
  15. The thing was, I switched from 75hz to 60hz and 60fps video felt way smoother in 60hz.
  16. Hello, I've always wanted to purchase a screen with a higher refresh rate but stumbled upon something one day. My screen was overclocked to 75hz and while watching a 60fps video, it was a bit off. Once I switched back to 60hz though, the video was a lot smoother than before. This makes me think that if I buy a 144hz monitor, my frames won't be smooth because the framerate of videos/games might not line up perfectly with the 144hz monitor. So I'm wondering if I should go to 120hz or 144hz.
  17. Hello, I tried to play ROBLOX one day and I got Initialization Error 4. Some suggestions were to turn off the antivirus, but windows defender says that my virus and threat protection is managed by an organization.
  18. Hello, Since I don't have an actual camera to do my vlogs, I use my iPhone 5s, but the front facing camera's mic records at only 64 kbps which sucks. I want to know if theres way to increase the bitrate so my viewers on YouTube will be happy.
  19. Hello, Whenever I call someone, I can't hear them that clearly which made me think of upgrading my iphone 5s. I learned that calls use special types of codecs and I would like to know what kinds of codecs my phones use. I've just recently gotten into audio and bitrate and I want to learn just how low and bad the bitrate or sample rate really is. -Iphone 4s -Iphone 5s -Iphone 6+ -Samsung Galaxy S8+
  20. Just want to experiment. I'm not good at hexadecimal or whatever that crap is so I need help to try to edit some of these settings.
  21. I saw that its supposed to do with something related to values, but I'm a noob at that.
  22. Hello, I was wondering if you could use Nvidia Inspector to increase the AF higher than 16x in games or the AA higher.
  23. I want to know the difference in numbers because the water cooler looks real nice and I would love to buy it. I think since the hyper 212 evo was so popular and everyone was reviewing it for the same cpu that it would work for 5GHz. I even heard linus saying how easy it is to reach 5GHz on the i7-7700k in a certain video (not sure which) Same thing, I heard many youtubers including Linus talk about it so I decided to buy it.
