Dark Rock Pro 4 has sufficient clearance for Trident Z memory. Pointless IMO to get the RGB sticks if one is going to get a DRP4 cooler.

For casual gaming it will be pretty average or low end, and you can get something for less that has the same specs that matter to gaming.

Maybe find a used 1080 ti if you're okay with that, or an RTX 2070 if you want ray tracing. You also have the option to get maybe one of the upcoming 1160 or 1170 cards that are supposed to be the rtx lineup but no ray tracing.

Can't you just right click and mute them manually? Seems much easier than programming a bot.

Get an i7 8700 or around that power range. Should keep up with the graphics card and keep its value for a while.

144Hz and G-Sync are different things. A 144Hz monitor still introduce tearing if your frame rate is not 144 or a factor of it (72, 36, 18, 9). G-Sync will prevent tearing if your frame rate is not the same as the refresh rate by telling the monitor when to update the image.
 
Otherwise, if you had to choose between one or the other:
144Hz if you can guarantee your video card can perform that well most of the time G-Sync if you can't guarantee the above.
