  1. Hey guys, I am currently looking for a 550-700 € workstation for a friend, who just needs it for photoshop, lightroom and maybe some video rendering. Gaming isnt important for him. Currently I chose a system with: Ryzen 3600, RX570, 16GB RAM and a 500GB M2 SSD This system costs about 550-600€ Cause there is still money left, I can upgrade either CPU or GPU. If i go with a better GPU i would take a RX580 or maybe a GTX 1660 . If I go for a better CPU, maybe I should wait for the Ryzen 5600 (X?) ( I guess its coming next month) I read that single core performance is important when working with photoshop - but I dont know if such an upgrade will be recognized. Whats your opinion ? What would you recommend? Thanks!
  2. Hey LTT-Community, My PC on startup crashed and rebooted with no display singal and peripherals working. My suggestions was broken mainboard. After resetting BIOS everything startet to work again and I load up the MSI-Bios. I looked up if everything was deteced as it should be and nothing was missing so far. Changed some OC-Settings to my old profile and started windows. While starting I recived a blue screen directly after MSI-BIOS page. It said something like : "Boot device not found" I looked at Boot priority and there was no mistake in my opinion. I applied some pics so you can take a look. Should i select RAID andnot AHCI (dont know what AHCI is) ? Idk seriously.xD Dont want to wipe my data. I also applied something out of the Mainboard Manuel which says something related to M2 SSDs and Setup.
  3. Hey, I reseted the BIOS and now everything should be working. I entered BIOS with display singal and peripherals working fine. Changed everything how it used to be. But upon windows start it crashes with error message something like: Cant find boot device. My M2 SSD is detected in the bios and my boot order seems to be fine too. Is there something important to check in Bios i forgott?
  4. Okay thats true... Yeah this should be my only options to go. Thanks
  5. Okay tomorrow I will try to reposition the cpu. Thanks for your help. If anyone has another idea pls be willing to participate here I am still open for new opinions.
  6. Thanks, so your saying that cpu could still work and the issue is on the mainboard. But now it gets a bit frustrating if i buy a new mainboard with socket 1151 and than realizing that the cpu is dead too. Buying ryzen + mainboard with am4 socket would be better than. Repositioning the cpu could fix it maybe. But if thats not helping i am still confused whats not working ( mainboard or CPU)
  7. Hey LTT-Community, After returning from holidays my pc had some issues during "first" start. Pressed power, lights on ram, mainboard, gpu and aio watercooler lit up and than turned off immediately. After this short 2 sec, my pc rebooted again with no display singal (DP and HDMI (TV)) and no peripherals lit up / worked as well. Tried everything and even shutting off and restarting it didnt fixed it. I want your opinion on this problem, cause my suggestion is that either mainboard or cpu is dead. But i am not really shure about it even when I found this in the mainboard manual: (look files applied) You can see the CPU-LED to the right of my ram. My current (relevant) components MSI Z270 Gaming M7 So. 1151 Intel i7 7700k @ 4.5 GhZ M2 970 evo This PC is currently 2.5 years old and no problems before. It looks that my cpu does not work. How can i be sure if the mainboard isnt dead too? What is your opinion to this problem? Thanks for help, Nexit EDIT: Even the number at the top which should display error or CPU temperature displays 00. In the manual it says, that it starts showing temperature when fully startet the OS here windows.
  8. Hey I have the same problem with the same monitor. Did you solved it somehow? (I also got the gtx 660 TI)
  9. Thanks for this fast answere The monitior is not the problem, I will get a good one with gsync. But before I buy this monitor, I want to be sure that my cpu is good enought to handle 1440p on 144hz in Overwatch.
  10. Hey LTT-Community, I have and ~5 year old PC with a GTX 660 TI, i7 3770 @ 3.4GHZ with 16gb of ram. I want to replace my GTX 660 TI with the new nvidia generation cards ( 1060,1070, 1070 ti ... ). My goal is it to run 144hz on WQHD in Overwatch on high or medium ( not epic!!) settings. Does anyone has this setup or something simular? Or can someone predict if my cpu will bottleneck with any of these cards? And if its working which card will be the best in price/performance? Thanks !
  11. Thanks for your reply. I am currently playing a lot of Overwatch. Footsteps and other soundeffekts are important ( but not that important compared to CSGO). I try to look for the shp9500+vmoda This sounds even better i guess. Thats all
  12. Hey LTT-Community, I am considering buying a new headset. I am interested in buying the Hyper X cloud cause it offers good sound qualitiy and comfort for a good price. Unfortunately the microphone isnt the best and I want to make this clear before buying the Headset. Of course I will use the headset first and try the mic before buying an aditional mic. My budget is only about 100€ (compare it to $) so I dont want to spend to much on a second microphone if i wanna buy one. So here are my questions: 1. Is the hyperX cloud 1(or 2) in this situation the right choice? Or is it better to buy other headphones and a sepreate mic? 2. Do you own a hyperX Cloud1 or 2 headset? Whats your point of view? Thanks https://www.amazon.de/HyperX-Cloud-Gaming-Headset-schwarz/dp/B00JJNQG98/ref=sr_1_6?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1504952615&sr=1-6&keywords=gaming+headset
  13. It was a Overwatch Setting...which I had to fix by editing the Settings file in Overwatch>Settinggs>(File) . I had to set the Show Network Graph to 0 ... Sorry never seen this in OVerwatch so far....
