Hi guys, I've been using GSKILL Trident RGB ram for about 1 year, when all of a sudden, two sticks decided to not be working. Weird thing is though, that rgb lighting is working on the ram, although I can't control it with the software (I have never been able to control the lighting on these sticks, even when they were working) Also, my motherboard has a small light on top of each slot to show if the ram stick is in or not, and these lights are still on. Anyone know if my ram is truly dead? Thanks. I've contacted logitech support and they were of no help really.. They just told me to send the headsets back and I had to troubleshoot myself to fix it the first time

So if I were to get something like bose bluetooth headsets they would work better than a G933? I'm not sure I need all the fancy audio for just gaming though. I would buy better headsets if they do improve my gaming experience however.

Hello, I have been using a Logitech G933 for about an year and the experience has not been great. About 4 months into use the headset would not turn on. I had to reset the firmware multiple times to get it to work. Now I'm having issues with the headset making popping noises every now and then and the headsets randomly turn off and on again during games. I have a price cap of about $400, which should be more than enough since I'm not looking for any fancy audio, just solid gaming performance. I've looked into Corsair Void and Razer Man O War, but these headsets seem to be problematic to a lot of people as well. Do you guys have any suggestions for wireless gaming headsets? What are your opinions? I'm just looking for stable performance, not fancy audio editing headsets. I am also looking into just buying headsets and getting a mic separately. I would also really like a charging dock if that even exists for the headphones. Thanks for your opinions

Hello, I'm using Windows 10 Creators Edition and I have an issue that I can't figure out. I live in the US but I am Korean, so I installed Windows in English and changed language settings into Korean. However, when I load certain installers or programs, the characters are broken as shown in the screenshot below. For reference, the characters in the text box are showing fine, but the bold text and options are broken. Has anyone faced this issue? Any fixes? Thanks

Finished! The Trident RGB Ram gave me a hard time configuring them but I got them to work with several reinstallations of the software.

Okay so I had my i7-7820X at 4.8Ghz , 1.25V. I ran stress tests, decided everything was okay and started playing a few games. I noticed on HW monitor however that my max clock was going up to 5000Mhz for some reason. I also experienced crashing during games so I downclocked back to 4.6Ghz 1.2V. I'm experiencing the same issue with my max clock being 4919Mhz. I did a little searching and my windows power mode is at balanced and I have disabled turbo boost in bios. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Thanks

@ybriK OMG should I downclock.. those are pretty similar numbers to my core T_T...... (also the reason I don't want to go crazy with Prime95) Thx everyone for the help! I honestly have no clue what I'm doing hopefully I don't kill my CPU Any opinions on stress testing method?

Yeah heard the news but haven't been experiencing any on my end. From my understanding I would be experiencing throttling issues if VRM temps where an issue.

Hello, I have been overclocking my new watercooled rig recently for my delidded i7-7820X. Right now I have found stability at 4.8 Ghz and 1.25 V with max temps around 80°C for package and 76~ for highest core temp. I used AIDA 64 and 3d Mark Timespy to stress test 1hr each (for now). Is this a bad method? I don't want to push my system to the maximum like Prime95 when I know I'll never be giving workloads as heavy as AIDA64 to the CPU in the first place. Should I go for more performance or just stop now? I'm thinking of pushing up to 1.275 V, is this safe? Its my first time trying to OC and I don't want to fry my system. Thanks everyone

Hello guys, A few weeks ago I decided to get a new PC and while I was at it to try some water cooling. I play a lot of Overwatch and I wanted to do a D.VA themed build with a white/pink color theme. I've run into so many problems during the process (currently at tubing) and I just wanted to share how stupid I am with you guys My Parts List : PC Components CPU : Intel Core i7-7820X Motherboard : MSI X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC Memory : G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR-3200 Storage : Samsung 960 EVO 500GB, Wester Digital Back 1TB GPU : Asus Geforce GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon Case : Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Water Cooling Components EKWB Supremacy Evo EKWB D5 Pump Singularity Protium Reservoir Singularity Core Mounting Brackets EKWB PETG Tubing Bitspower Fittings Problems I have faced into So the components came one by one for a duration of about two weeks. I would have bought a lot of these things if I didn't live in NYC and I could actually go somewhere for these parts nearby. First problem I ran into was the reservoir I was planning to mount next to my 360 rad. The Poseidon GPU was WAY bigger than I expected. While the res itself had enough clearance, the mounts were thicker than expected and I was forced to mount it horizontally on my 240 rad on top instead. Second issue was I thought a d5 pump top was actually a d5 pump that attached to a reservoir. (Didn't think a cap made of acrylic could be worth $60 USD) So I had to buy an extra pump.. which was another problem because I couldn't find the one that stuck to my res, so I just got an EKWB pump and mounted it next to my 360 rad. Third issue I am currently facing is dealing with rigid tubing and the crazy curves I need to make in order for everything to fit. I have 3 connections done right now, and that took me 6 tubes of PETG tubing... I thought it would be enough for me but being the first-timer I am I messed up about 2 packs of it. Most of my connections feel like I forced the tube into place.. not sure if this is what people usually do. I am also AMAZED by people being able to connect things in just 1 curve, my components would never be able to connect that way. (Bad planning by my part.) Things I learned and suggestions for first-timers For the love of god use soft tubing if its your first time. Yes rigid tubing looks better. It also takes a whole lot more time than you think. The videos you see online make things look so easy and clean cut because they are tutorials. (I might just be really bad at bending tubing though.. :/) Buy a huge case. I thought the 570X would be enough and it wasn't.. not much space to work with. If you plan to use a small res/d5 combo then mid-tower is fine. But a bigger case would have definitely made things easier for me. Clearance was half of the headaches I have had during this venture. Speaking of clearance.. Buy things from one company only. I thought my res would fit into the EKWB pump and I was wrong. Companies have different dimensions for how they build things, but they do make their own things work with each other. Buying tubing and matching fittings can be a headeache, and just sticking to one company can save some of the pain of having to deal with different sizes of tubing as well as mounting solutions, etc. Overall, a great learning experience for me. Some frustration of having to wait for stuff to arrive since I can't finish my build until next week.This is personal preference, but I regret the hell out of choosing to go with rigid tubing, Things just seem so hard to put together. I would like to end with one question to the pros. All my curves are pretty bad and they don't perfectly match my fittings. I sort of forced them in there and they are pretty snug but I just don't like the feeling. Will this cause a leak long term? Thanks everyone I will post when I finish!

Okay, so this is a long and painful story. Its my first time watercooling, and I basically bought too big of a reservoir and pump that aren't even from the same company so I cant combine them. I have been ripping my hair out trying to fit all my components into the case, and I would have gotten away with it if I had ordered a slightly smaller GPU. However, because I am running a GTX 1080 Ti Poseidon, I realized I could not mount my reservoir in front of my 360 mm radiator no matter what I do. After moving things around thoroughly, I came up with a solution of horizontally mounting my reservoir and attaching it to my 240 radiator at the top. I have attached a diagram of how things look right now: Red - Radiators Light Blue - D5 Pump Dark Blue - Reservoir Yellow - CPU Waterblock Purple - GPU If I could actually pull this tubing off, would you guys recommend it? Or should I just turn in the d5 and the reservoir for a smaller combo? (I lose 20% of the money I paid, so I would like to avoid this.)

I had more than enough budget and I didn't want to wait another month since I don't have a computer ATM. I wanted a CPU decently overkill for my needs and honestly I didn't really need a 7900X. (Would have bought it but went out of stock) So I just got a 7830X..

I just got my main components for my new 7820X bulid. However, my CPU waterblock is still on the way, and I want to do a test run (checking if it turns on and turning it off after 5~10 seconds) Will this kill my CPU? I'm scared but I want to test if all my parts are functional. Thanks.

So no binned chips? I'm watercooling so manual overclocking is something I would do. I just want the best performance.
