  1. Hey guys, I recently upgraded to a freesync monitor and so far I'm really liking it. However I'm having a weird issue and I'm not sure if it's a problem or if didn't configure freesync the correct way. The issue I'm currently experiencing is that when I play a video on Youtube at 1080p 60fps whilst in game on my main 75hz freesync monitor it drags the fps down to 60 instead of 75 in my games. As soon as I pause the video on my second monitor which is running at 1080p 60hz, my game on the main monitor goes back up to 75fps. Here's some info that might be useful, em I got a GTX1660TI, Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB ram, hooked up to the 2nd monitor (so the 60hz one) an Elgato HD60 Pro, all the latest updates are installed and I obviously enabled the G-Sync compatibility mode. I hope somebody can help out, Thanks.
  2. Hi guys, I just upgrade my old FX build to the new Ryzen platform, I see amazing performance gains and everything. But also a rise in temps. I've tested GTA V for a couple of minutes and the cpu hit a max of 74 degrees celcius. I've looked around the internet and didn't really find answers. I'm just wondering what normal temperatures are for the stock cooler. I have no intent on overclocking or anything btw. My average temps are around the 40s to 50s according to Core Temp when I'm just in Windows and not doing anything intense. I just want to make sure that these temps are okay so I have ease of mind, thanks in advance people!
  3. Hey guys I currently have a 2TB 7200RPM hard drive in my system. It's almost full at the moment this is because I have a lot of media and a lot of my game library installed. Uninstalling some games I have already done to make up some space, for now the space left is enough but it's not much (about 100gb left). So I would like to get an even bigger drive but I would not want to have to go the all the hustle of reinstalling everything. I know it's possible but I don't quite know how, I'd like to upgrade to a bigger drive and have everything just ready on the new one with all my stuff and programs on it. All the settings all the games and software installed just the way it's now. How can I do this? I am open to solutions that cost a little money, maybe a tool I need or whatever. Hoping for some answers soon. Thanks guys
  4. Well a friend of mine had that on his system, but in the end his main drive did end up filling up because some parts of software and games gets installed on the C drive right? So in the end his ssd boot drive was full and his hard drive had plenty of space even though he installed stuff on his hard drive. That's why I don't wanna do that, unless he did something wrong and you can tell me how I should do it.
  5. Hey guys, My 2TB hard drive is almost full again, after changing to this one from a 1TB one before. What I did the first time was just reinstall windows and download all games and software again. But now with 2TB filled up I'm looking for a different way to migrate windows, so I can use it on the new bigger drive like nothing ever happend. Is there any way or any software I could use? And please nothing to complicated, I know very little about storage and what not.
  6. Yeah thought so, but how would you move the "users" folder then? Just cut and paste ?
  7. I don't quite understand what you mean, aren't you supposed to have windows on C drive? I thought it wouldn't work other wise. And if there's some way around that can you please clarify?
  8. Guys this is something I have been wondering about for ages now. Just about any youtuber who does like a pc build video adds an 240gb ssd and a 1tb harddrive in that build. The ssd being where windows would be installed as they say. I have had a few friends who did this and then had all of their games on the 1tb hard drive. Somehow they do run out of storage on the ssd even though they install the games on the 1tb hard drive, i'm guessing this is because some of the data does get saved on the ssd but then comes the question why do they recommend it if you run out of storage real quickly. A friend of mine bairly owns any games and has a 250gb ssd that is completley full even though he uses the hard drive as main storage. Am I missing something, I don't get why you would have an ssd with such a low storage capacity when what I just mentioned happends after a little while.
