  1. the res is fine now and its not gliching so that means my gpu is dead?
  2. Hi, first off thanks for even taking the time to read about by problem. My pc specs: win 10 latest update msi gtx 1070 i5 7600k gigabyte z270 gaming k3 4x4 ddr4 2133 (oc to 2600) corsair tx550m My pc is about 4 years now and yesterday out of nowhere i got a blue screen and after that the problems came, so i tried hard resetting the pc and during the process my pc screen kept flicking and showing dead pixels aswell and just freezing and trying to reboot by itself so i tried a diffrent monitor but that didnt work i also tired the cable but that didnt work as well. when i finally got my pc to boot i only had 3 resolutions options(i added a screenshot) that were far below my my monitor res which is 2k and then when i try to install the graphics drives my screen gets pixelated and starts doing weird staff(added a screenshot) pls help and ty for reading.
  3. So out of the blue after i tried installing a game that didnt want to install [internal hdd] so after a bunch of attempted fixes and restart my pc didnt boot up instantly but it instead it fixed some files on my hard drive[might of stopped midway] and now i get this drive inaccessible parameter incorrect error that i cant open the drive and see what's wrong i tried to chkdsk but what i get is The drive, the path, or the file name is not valid. idk if the hard is dead but would be nice if anyone knows a fix to my problem.
  4. So i decided to do a unigine heaven and valley benchmark to test my gpu for overclocking, so first i tried doing it without any overclocking besides my cpu and ram and after i got my score of 1809,3284, then I decided to compare to other results online and found out that someting is def off and i dont know what, The reason i came here for help. forgot to add that i tried windowed i monitored the card temp and core and the card does run pretty hot at 78% the speed didnt change and a bit, Its not a bottleneck the usage is on 98%+, and i tried reinstalling the driver like 50 times already specs:16gb ram 4x4 ddr4 2400 (overclocked to from 2133) cpu: i5 7600k 4.8ghz oc gpu:1070 msi gaming x
  5. Already did what u said and nothing changed and the gpu seems fine nothing out of the ordinary just that the score is of a 1060 not a 1070
  6. yea he has an i7 but still even if he did do some overclocking
  7. Plus i set the temp and power limit on max in afterburner
  8. already tried that the gpu was at like 76 degrees but the score stayed the same pretty much
  9. the usage seems fine around 99-98 sometimes tho it dips to like 25-30 for a split second and yea gonna try some other benchmark
  10. checked it and the temp is around 81-82 peak but that because the case is in a very bad spot for air flow but still no change to coreclock or anything
