  1. Well just like the title says, why don't we have proper implementations of USB type-C in cases? I mean if you look at the cases from CES videos that all the tech youtubers posted, almost all of them either don't have type-c or if they do it's clear that they just replaced type A and put a type-C there. It was never designed for type-c. Now I get that it takes time to design a case and build a prototype and then re-design etc. etc. etc., but type-c was released in like what 2014 or 2015, something like that yet it's clear that only the cases that will be released in late 2018 or 2019 will actually proper implementation of that connector. So why so late?
  2. Do you have on your monitor a button that says "Source", if so can you start the machine and press that button after the you powered up the machine. So leave the monitor on, turn on pc and then press source. I say this because I've got an LG monitor that if I change the connector or video card it refuses to show an image unless I hit source, so it can find a new source.
  3. I would run Crystal Disk Info like @Anghammarad said above, I would do this simply because I've found that HD Tune sometimes gives wonky read outs. I've had drives that HD Tune said they were completely dead, yet another software said they were perfectly fine. And they were.
  4. This is what happens when reviewers actually do their job and point out the negative stuff as well, not just brash it off with a lame joke or saying it's actually ok, because they don't want to upset the company that send the product and in the process risk losing that sponsorship.
  5. Never forget RAM prices. I can get an i5 8400 or a Ryzen 1600 for less than I would spend on 16GB of DDR4.
  6. The 24cps was me taking a jab at what some say. You know the classical "The human eye can't see more than 24fps." Probably, yes.
  7. 24cps (Colors Per Second) Apparently a bit of googling, since I didn't actually know this before. The average human can see around 10 million and sometimes they can see 100 million, but that's apparently rare. Also keep in mind vision depends from person to person.
  8. Anyone outside of America that knows anything about cars, knows that is true. Ok, if you ever have the possibility try a Ford Fiesta that's made for America and one that's made for the European market and then tell me how that is.
  9. Sorry but it's true. When it comes to cars, they can only make good looking straight line fast cars. The rest is something they just don't know how to do.
  10. No they're not. I see that you're from America, so I presume you drove American cars, if so then I agree with you simply because the Americans cannot build cars. If not, then you're still clinging to the old mentality of those who think that real drivers are only those who drive with a manual gearbox. Manual gearboxes have absolutely no advantages over automatic ones, unless the automatic is poorly made which in some cars it is. The only reason they still exist is because they're cheap to produce.
  11. Honestly manual transmission should've been killed decades ago.
  12. I love the hypocrisy of most electric car people. They go on and on with how amazing electric cars are for the planet, but they never acknowledge how the electricity that they need is made. Cause in reality the electric car is by leaps and bounds more harmful to the planet than petrol ones.
  13. What a great time to build a system, you can get a good processor for less than you would pay for RAM.
  14. Can someone reply to me when and if they show some new video cards? I couldn't care less about their flowers and how fast they can identify them. Also #TheMoreYouBuyTheMoreYou'ReBroke
  15. Luke's boss mentality really started to show since he became FloatPlane's boss.
  16. Well Net Neutrality is dead (yes I know it's not completely dead) , so this will never be available for Americans. Oh boy
  17. No. Although I do have to mention I see this when I have multiple tabs opened from this website.
  18. I've noticed in the last couple of months that the notification bell lights up for a fraction of a second then goes away, but when I check it no new notifications appear. This happens in any thread and always randomly. Is it normal to do that? Is it some sort of an auto-refresh?
  19. Honestly I would try to reinstall Windows and see if that fixes the issue, if not I say it's broken.
