uncfan07 got a reaction from Stilmis in Help with all fans not turning off on shutdown
This is a newly built computer that I have and having issues with all fans not turning off on shutdown. The monitor will turn off but the CPU,GPU and case fans all stay on unless I press and hold the power button.

    SPECS:
    INTEL XEON e3-1230 V2
    Asus p8h67-m pro
    12gb ddr3
    GTX 1060
    256gb ssd and 1tb hdd

    Things I've tried:
    1. Swapped to a different motherboard
    2. Swapped power supplies
    3. Reinstalled windows
    4. Installed intel management engine interface. (Updated driver)
    5. Reset bios/ update bios to latest

Still nothing is helping. Only thing I haven't tried is a different CPU.

do you have xmp enabled for the ram? I know alot of b350 boards have issues when ram is over 2933mhz. if you do try lowering the ram to under 3000mhz

Never pay that much for windows, you can get a copy of windows 10 pro for $5 on ebay. Also i would also look for a GTX 1070 or 980ti for $200 on ebay

It depends on your resolution. If you want 1080p, 3GB is enough. If you want 1440p, then you’ll want 6GB.

All depends on what you are playing at, 1080p with max setting and the 3gb will be perfectly fine. If you are wanting 1440p then go with the 6gb. Another option would be to try and find a GTX 970

Yeah I would just buy the 1050TI card and when they ever do get back in stock then get it and sell the 1050...I am helping my cousin build a new computer and had to get him a 1050Ti since thats the only card under $200. It still gives good performance and they are about $130. I was lucky enough to get a GTX 1060 2 weeks ago for normal price but now even the 1060s are prices way high

Just got OnePlus 5 in today and it's one beast of a phone. Camera is very good and its the fastest phone I've ever used. No one cares about benchmarks on phones anymore so I don't care if its processor runs faster while running the test. What matters is real world performance. Cant beat a snapdragon 835, 8gb ram, 128gb storage for around $550. I will be selling my Galaxy S8, still has noticeable lag and hiccups.

I had a g4560 in both mine and my wifes PC. It its a great CPU. I paired it withe a 1050Ti and it played most  all games 45+fps on 1080p max graphics and over 60fps on high. I do not see the point of spending double to get a i3 7100. Overwatch will be about 55-80fps
