Thanks for the info @Protocase and everyone else. Like I said I’m just in a conceptual phase. I don’t want to mislead and say I’m anywhere near ordering, if I eventually do anything with the idea at all. Just info gathering is all. 

We have a rep on the forums also @Protocase which you can also contact. Just know though for any custom machining or design work for a fully custom made case you will be looking at a pretty steep price tag, approx in the thousands. 

Protocase does single cases; however, I'd think a minimum cost would be 100 - and that's a minimum. It could easily go to a couple hundred.

@nicklmgVideo volume is lower than usual, is that intentional? Both latest WAN show and this video have a lower content loudness (youtube stats for nerds)

We didn't like the "anti-RGB" build because you needlessly killed components and put it together like complete morons. 
I don't like this build because it's hardly anything special, it looks more or less the same to any other RGB themed build except with a few other add ons. Honestly, is this the best content coming from the channel these days? 

we hated the anti-rgb build because you fucked it all up, you started with a white case to PAINT black that made it all blotchy and shitty looking, then you killed the components with paint instead of just getting black parts to start with.

I don't understand how using the same socket only modified to prevent backwards compatibility and the same chipset as previous gen can be called "technological advance". All I can see is a weird money grab. 

Considering I just saw a $600 "mining edition" of an RX 470, I don't think I'm buying anything for a while.

That was kinda painful to watch.  I hope that some (most?) of that was playing up Linus' sense of humor and oh look I drop everything persona for the video.  I really hope with as much experience as the team has that you don't send someone so unprepared in the wild with no support and, pardon my shudder, no charge cables.  
 
Though the issues with the equipment is something else.  At what point do you decide that something like that is too much trouble than it's worth, and you're just chasing the investment where you sink so much money into the investment and keep excusing, troubleshooting, and sinking more money and effort into it.

Though you could probably do a search for (your laptop model) power supply and see what turns up. 

I would think things like HVAC, Fridges, Water heaters, things that are on all the time would contribute more to your bill.

 It's crazy expensive. Their are cheaper domestic models, just search for "Rotating waffle maker". They don't have the egg design on the grills though.

It's being calculated based on the weighted results across all testing (gaming specifically average FPS and 3DMark+Superposition). It's based on the methods @Enderman and @patthehat pointed out in the Core i9 correction thread. The technically comment is just calling out the oddity there at <$100.  

Technically it's worth $719 for somebody if that's what they're selling it for.

Maybe buying just the cable?  Guy has high seller rating, so I doubt you get that with deceptive page, and this could just be a copy paste of a spec flyer or such. but...
Edit to add that positive feedback is apparently 24.. not that huge, and the profile says he/she is in Germany.  
 

The one time I had to invoke paypal on someone it went fine. I ordered too before I realized that could be taken to mean you get _just_ the cable.  I figure if it was a typo listing it will get taken down.  Probably be more than 5 days for me since it's shipping from Germany.  Lets meet back here and discuss how it turned out? 

Save your money for a little while and get something better, $50 won't go very far.
 
From what I'm seeing, 750Ti's go for around $100 used, and they're about the minimum I'd suggest.

if your diagnostic program is indicating a problem then I'd say better safe than sorry.  Better to back up now than when it starts clicking.  How old is the drive?  It may be under warranty.
